Surveying People

A must for anyone who is looking to purchase a property. I had a RICS Level 3 Home Survey done. Drone survey helped me identify issues with the roof that saved me money, this deducted from the purchase price of the property. I would have overpaid for property and put more money in to fix any other issues without the survey.Surveyor was diligent, friendly and informative, fantastic service!

The entire process was seamless, from scheduling the survey with the admin staff to receiving the level 3 RICS report.The report was incredibly thorough, and I was really impressed with the detail of defects highlighted in-particular with the roofing cover, and chimney stacks. Spoke to Shazmeena today, she was really kind and helpful. She was able to answer all my questions, and even offered to help me over message as well when I couldn’t speak over the phone. Ross did an excellent and throughout job on a survey at short notice for a competitive price. It was a far higher quality survey than others we have had done, and the drone was an excellent inclusion especially for period properties.

Great communication from Shazmeena, thorough explanation of everything I needed to know and was super professional would definitely recommend. Not only that, I was given options which was also helpful! 10/10

Outstanding service! Quick turn around as promised. Very thorough report. Followed up with a phone call immediately after the survey was done to provide a summary. Once report completed, offers phone call to explain anything further. Great that they include drone photography as standard (with Level 3) so get to see whole condition of exterior of building. Helped us dodge a bullet with one property; returned to them for next property's survey, too.

They did an excellent job for the RICS Level 3 report but it's a 4-star just due to slight mismanagement of expectations. They promised a post-survey call but I have yet too hear back about it. It hasn't been a full week since receiving the report so perhaps they're out of office. I'll update this review later if so.Update: Got a call from Alam the day after this review and he kindly helped me with my queries. Soon after, Ross got back to me with a structural engineer recommendation. I'm satisfied with their service and have updated my rating in response.

Do not trust what Ross promise you, even if he put it in writing!Following some negotiation I agreed to pay more because of the drone footage they advertise on the website. No footage was provided. To complement this, when I finally received the invoice (which I asked a week earlier to no avail ), I was asked to pay ''immediately''. Finally, I was promided some simple measurements of one of the rooms which did not take place. Will report to Trading Standars with the original email thread, to see what they make of this.
