It is very strange that someone could give very marks for this accommodation. Talking problems concerning facilities makes no sense, as these problems are reported and complained over and over again. Nothing changed! The newest 5 star comment is quite strange. I cannot believe my eyes that someone could think of those recepients (especially my dear Louise) as kind. It is always unfortunate to see that lady with an offensive face on the reception. She will never smile to you unless she got a chance to make you feel unhappy. If someone do like her, then the answer must be that I am discriminated.

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this accommodation and later working with their incredible team. The managers, Giancarlo and Nick, set the tone for excellence with their leadership. The receptionists, Louise, Gianmarco, and Lisabeth, were always welcoming and attentive.Even during the night shifts, Doni and Abdul were there to ensure our comfort and safety. The maintenance team, consisting of Rodney, Mariyana, Aldo, Irena, and Agnieszka, was nothing short of amazing. They were not only skilled but also incredibly kind and sweet.Throughout my experience, every member of this team went above and beyond to make my stay and work here exceptional. I cannot thank them enough for their extraordinary hospitality and assistance. This is undoubtedly a 5-star accommodation, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable experience.

Considering the price of £1100 a month, the receptionists are incredibly rude, and there are often general problems with the accomodation ( water outtages, lights not working, curtain rails breaking )

I don't normally bother with posting reviews, let alone negative ones, but my experience here has been so negative I had to warn others.I stayed from September 2021 until the following year. It would be easier for me to say what DIDN'T go wrong during my stay. However, here are a few highlights:• Hot water stopped working in the dead of winter, and stayed that way for WEEKS. I had to boil water on the stovetop to be able to shower.• They have no respect for your privacy whatsoever. Receptionists have a master key, and would barge into people's rooms as they pleased. I had people walking in on me sleeping more than once.• Best of luck to you if you ever need anything from management (like a reference for future landlords, or for food to be brought to your doorstep when you're self-isolating due to COVID). They are absurdly non-responsive.Some the staff are nice and helpful but that's about it really. For your own sake, do not live here.

3/5I lived at this accommodation for about 10 months and I have to say it’s not the worst place to live but it’s not the best either.Im going to write my review in Pros and Cons since I would’ve liked to have read a review like this before moving in.Pros:Gym/ Sauna/ Other amenities are included in rent. Most employees there are very nice and friend, that includes Kim and the security guys (especially the tall romenian man which I unfortnely don’t know the name of)Overall good environmentWeekly Room cleaningGood location (15 minute walk from City Centre and about 25/30 mim walk from ARU)Close Bus StopCons:I had a lot of issues with my neighbours, they would scream and run on the hallway between 1 to 7 am mostly on weekends but sometimes on weekdays and even though me and my roommate and other neighbours of mine reported this to Kim no changes were ever made. They received a few treats but after 3 days or so everything would go back to normal. This same group of noisy people often did pranks and on Christmas even stole my Christmas ornaments from my door.Again, I reported this to the front desk and they recovered my ornaments but didn’t proceed to do anything to the petty thief, they even told me he (the thief) did it because he didn’t liked the holiday and that made me feel like he was being protected over my safety.Hot water supply would sometimes fail (I think the maximum of days I had to go without hot water was 3 Days).Gym isn’t open 24/7.Even though Study Inn offers plates and cutlery me and my roommate only had a fork between us.When you shower you have to keep opening the shower door in order to have light (the bathroom light has a sensor and whenever you’re showering it doesn’t detect as much motion so you have to keep stoping your shower in order to have light again). As I said previously workers there were very nice except Fatima.I don’t know why but Fatima was never nice to me. Whenever someone would talk to her she would be very nice to them but as soon as I asked her something even if I greated her she would always do the bare minimum and would always look like she’s doing me a favor or something. There was this time where I was in the gym and a group of people was playing pool and it was 3 minutes till 11 pm which meant she had to close it and she came up to me and very rudely (almost) screamed to my face that I had to get out immediately and then completely changed attitudes with the group of people playing pool and said that they could stay a few more minutes with a smile on her face. When I had problems with my Roomate Study Inn refused and said they couldn’t help me (I wanted to move out but they said that if I had I would have to still pay rent there).Hallways were often dirty. There isn’t many washing and dryer machines in comparison to how many people live there.Overall I didn’t enjoy this experience, it was very stressful and not easy and calm as they advertise it to be and I just hope I’m able to get my deposit back.

Details of my experience:1. Constant water disruption. No hot water in the winter months and experienced no water at all for more than 10 hours.2. Heating system broken - especially during winter months.3. Constant noise and disruption from maintenance. Rude, inappropriate comments by the male maintenance team.4. No privacy - they enter your room without your knowledge.5. Overpriced.6. All tenants recently received a threatening email of repossession which was an inaccurate email, causing distress to many.7. Loud music at night during quiet period" - a critical study period for Cambridge students.8. Rude behaviour from reception including profanity at me.9. This company purchased a decaying building without repairing key features prior to tenants signing the tenancy agreements

This place is an absolute disgrace. As a father who provided the funds for my daughter to rent that place I can say that the we are happy that the time at Collegiate Castle Street has come to an end. Continuous maintenance issues, rude staff and disruption of services have been a nightmare. No heating in winter, no water for days and careless building management is putting unnecessary strain on students who must concentrate on studying and preparing for exams. At the end of the term a hapless management has sent out eviction notices via email that arrived during exams. An utterly useless endeavor if you under a fixed term agreement anyway. I haven’t seen such unorganized and bad behavior anywhere else. Never again! Freddy

This is the worst Accommodation ever you could find. The staff who are at the Reception are Rude to be specific Few are really friendly to Tenants (Nick Fitton is a Gem of a Person) To explain I wanted to get my friends(2) into my studio for just 2 hours to have breakfast they did not allow us for that which I felt as IN HUMAN I don't think they have friends or they might have not gone to any university.

I've been here for a week and a half and I've already had several problems.First of all, my room had a tiny window which was in a small part of the room separated from the rest by a wall. The illumination was so poor, the room was a bit dark even during the day so I had to change rooms.I would post a photo of the window but I don't know if it's legal. I recommend you ask to see photos of your room before coming here. Moreover there were cold water outages 3 consecutive days until 5pm. You could only use burning water then.My new room is not bad, like the ones shown in the photos, the kitchen is still dark during the day unless you turn on the lights but that will probably happen with every room.UPDATE about the next paragraph (8 months later): Actually since I wrote this review I have almost always seen some receptionist when I have passed through the reception, so it seems like they are taking that more seriously. The other thing I have complaints about, is it is very difficult to contact anyone to help you with any problems. If you are lucky there will be a receptionist in reception. If not, good luck: I've forgotten my card inside my room after doing my laundry and I've been waiting 2h in reception (I'm writing the review while waiting). The phone they have in reception doesn't work and the emergency" phone shown in the rooms (other people told me the phone) doesn't work either."

Beautiful hostel with great amenities - study room, gym, movie theater… the studio apartments are great for a single occupant and come furnished too. Would highly recommend
