Sweet Alloys

I Had a wheel refurbishment done around a month ago by Sweet Alloys and it is by far the worst work I have ever seen.There are so many issues I don't know where to begin. The lacquer has blistered up absolutely everywhere. There are large parts with no lacquer at all and the lacquer that is there is paper thin and can be removed with a finger nail. The paint is flaking off in the parts with no lacquer. There are small areas left un-sanded so they have lumps of metal poking out. There are sanding pig tail scratches in all the wheels, where dirt has got caught in his sander and been swirled around the wheel.When questioned on why my wheels look like that he told me that I shouldn't have been expecting a flawless finish in the first place, despite his website saying he offers Showroom perfection" and a finish that will beat all his competitors.Avoid like the plague.Update 9 months on: The wheels have now flaked so badly that they look far worse than they did before the so called refurbishment. I am now going to strip them and take them to someone who can actually do the job properly. Still furious at this shoddy excuse for alloy wheel refurbishment."

Sweet Alloys refurbished 4 diamond cut wheels on my wife's BMW X4. Wife over the moon with the results. Big thanks to Gino. Highly recommended 11/10.

Gino has done a couple of refurbs for me in the last year and both have been top quality you would not know the alloys had been damaged in the first place. Always on time and very polite. Had 4 wheels refurbished and recoloured on my Fiesta ST. Simon was very approachable and professional, explaining the process and allowing me to choose a colour I liked the most. The end results are fantastic and was completed over the course of a few hours! highly recommended!

Gino has done a first class job on my beautiful Alfa Spiders wheels. I had all four re-alloyed {if that's the correct phrase} He was on time and was extremely polite. All my neighbours have commented how gorgeous my car looks. Thanks Gino!!!! Worth every penny.
