Had misfortune of calling into this shop today to get a few things ,lady on the till was chatting to the customer infront of me without scanning at the same time may I add, they chatted for a good 3 or 4 mins while I stood waiting actually starting to think it was a joke wind up ,had to eventually be quite sharp and ask if they realised I was waiting and it's not a social meeting for those two. Met by dirty looks and although she started to scan the woman's goods they continued chatting loudly and rudely. This is terrible behaviour and needs addressing by management. Asda teach your staff customer service please,I will not be back and suggest other people shop elsewhere. Dreadful behaviour and place. They act more like they're there to socialise than work. They actually make customers feel unwelcome or unwanted.

Went in to buy paracetamol and ibuprofen. Flagged for approval which is fine, i get its a 16+ product. I'm 21 and realised I forgot my ID. I'm trying to buy this while in tears due to being in immense pain and desperately needing the medication. Told I need my ID so I said I would go out to the car and get my partner to come in who has his (he's 22). Told nope has to be my ID. I get that for alcohol but paracetamol (which is what flagged it looked like) can be given to under 16s just not purchased by them. Had to go to a different shop and struggle longer in immense pain where my partner could go in and buy it for me.

Today (5th September at 9am) was the first day of school and I came to pick things for my children's lunch and I was already getting late. I was at cash out and scanning my things and I told my 8 year old son to go get a shopping bag as there weren't any around and the lady worker (we don't know her name) kept on walking and had bags with her and my son kept on walking behind her to get attention but she wasn't listening and then I had to call her to five me a bag after I needed another one I asked my son again and he went and asked her and she rudely said say please first with disgust on her face and everyone around heard and when my son said please then she gave him a bag...she should at least treat the customers with care and polite, they are kids sometimes they forget to say please it doesn't mean you don't give the bag and look rude.. she was very racist and rude lady that even my son felt it and he was about to cry. The manager should at least put the bags out so customers can easily take them without having to faceEmployees who don't know how to treat kids.

Fairly good prices and lots off staff. They don’t sell a wide enough variety off products too do a weekly shop tho, but has cash machine and good parking.

Nice friendly staff, not as much choice as others but still a great pop in and pop out for essentials

Update: would NOT go here again...My partner (21F) was in severe pain from her period and fibromyalgia and went in to buy paracetamol but they refused to sell it to her as she didn't believe she was over 16. She was in floods of tears but i guess i can understand it. Trouble is though they went on to say i couldn't go in on her behalf as they'd refuse to sell to me (22M) as well, even if i had my ID (which i did - My drivers license). Can understand not selling to my partner maybe but then refusing to sell me medication as well if i came in? You can buy paracetamol on behalf of an under 16 if your over 16 anyway. Just went to Morrisons and bought it from there instead as my partner was desperate for the pain relief tablets (as in in floods of tears). Shame as it's yet another Asda we've been treated poorly by...

Just great. A compact version of the big stores, with most of their product lines, but no petrol station. Nice sized car park.

It has around 7 ♿ Park spaces very close to the door, there is a free to use cashpoint outside by the front entrance, it isn't a very big asda. But it has pretty much everything you would find in any supermarket, they sell some electrical equipment. Such as radios , computer accessories keyboard's, mice and blank discs, there's a small freezer isle , and a little bakery at the bottom of the first isle.

Staff that just stand looking at you whilst standing for 5 minutes waiting to be served, Women arguing about not going on the checkout and wandering off. There is a few staff who are on the Ball but tonight I had enough left my stuff walked out...Sick of the rudeness. Place is a joke
