Vets Now Swindon

Our dog was really unwell and we were able to get her seen quickly here during a Sunday. Once I called the phone number I was able to attend the clinic at any time during the day. Once I arrived and booked in I had a very short wait. The vet that we saw was lovely and she seemed very knowledgeable and caring. She talked us through what she thought was wrong with our dog and gave us options. She also clearly safety netted after she gave our dog the medication required and I knew that I could go back at any time with my dog if she wasn’t improving.I would highly recommend these out of hours vets service, all the staff are friendly and take a caring attitude. Thank you for your help

No one wants a poorly pet over a bank holiday period but Vets Now made the whole thing as easy as possible. They cared for Alba extremely well and made sure to keep me up to date with her progress. A great service. Thanks.

Although I am happy with how quickly a vet saw me, I should have been sent to an exotic vet and not a regular one. I was given wrong information which I discovered after eventually being sent to an exotic vets by another practice! I forked out £300 for them to barely do anything, prolonged my hedgehogs condition when they should have sent me to the right practice to begin with. Will not be using again

Review is not really about the service we received at the surgery, that was fine but the Finance / Customer (so called) support is absolutely shocking. Our invoice has been dealt with, and paid, through our insurance, I've received email confirmation from them. We have now received 3 letters saying amount is outstanding and if not received in 5 days will be handed to debt collectors. On the many times I've tried to call they won't speak to me as they have my husbands name as he booked our dog in when he went to the clinic. I was informed by customer services by email it can take up to 14 days for a payment to be logged on their system! If I ran my business like this I'm sure I would lose lots of customers. I see their response to these bad reviews is email customer support to discuss the issue, been there, done that, it didn't help. Absolutely shocking, steer well clear unless you like to receive harassing letters at what is a stressful enough time with a sick pet.

Friendly staff and speedy response time. The only reason it’s not a 5 star is the team we’re under resourced and unable to carry out certain procedures there and then resulting in our dog needing to stay in overnight and be seen to by the day care team. This isn’t the vets fault, more of a staffing/resourcing issue, which could be fatal for other patients and should be considered.

Our cat Millie had to stay the weekend at Vets Now Swindon as she had a virus and hadn't eaten or drank for several days. She was given fluids intravenously and painkillers and after 24 hours she started to improve. The staff were wonderful, checking her very frequently and keeping us updated on her condition. We were allowed to visit her on the Sunday and we spent an hour and a half with her in a private room and could have stayed longer if we wanted to. We picked her up on Monday morning and again her condition had improved. Thanks to the staff Millie seems to have made a full recovery.

Excellent service and the vet who treated my dog is an amazing and caring lady. Mollie was in a very bad way when we arrived and luckily she made a full recovery after the quick response and treatment she received. The staff also helped with my insurance claim. The hospital environment is friendly, spacious and clean. Thank you all for helping my little dog. ❤️

I drive 75 mins each way to bring my bearded dragons to Vets Now Swindon - they're that good! They have truly specialist knowledge of exotic animals and have been able to help where others have failed. Best of all, everyone from the reception staff to the vet nurses and vets are the friendliest, kindest and most caring professionals I've ever encountered. Why would you go anywhere else?

Vets Now kept us well informed throughout the whole process. They are all kind and compassionate, putting the animal first at all times. Carly was our main contact and was superb.

Emergency care needed for our dog who had lost the use of his back legs. After a quick phone call they wanted to see him straight away. Once we arrived my pet was taking straight away. The receptionist was very friendly and told nurses we had arrived who then came out within minutes. Our pet was taking from us and given an examination. We were told that he was in a lot of pain and that they would give a sedative to relax him which would make him sleep and a pain killer. Nurses were very knowledgeable, calm, reassuring and professional. They kept us informed with everything that they did and what was happening. After test and investigation done that evening the results were given to us. The whole time we sat it the reception area we were made very welcome and reassured that everything would be done to help my pet.Such a wonderful place of staff on such a worrying experience
