Keiss or Reiss beach , both villages are along Sinclair Bay, is an incredible sand bay stretching several miles with castles and a golf course along its length.

Keiss Beach
Amazing big beach on Sinclair Bay, very quiet, and good for walking and a bit of solitude. It's in Keiss which is between Wick & John o Groats in Caithness. My wee Yorkie Eleanor loves it there!

Could do with a proper car park and toilet facilities. Surprised there are no dune buggies or windsurfing rentals which I think would do really well.

Beautiful, deserted sandy beach with shallow waters and dunes. Some historic world war two defences still visible.

A beautiful, quiet stretch of unspoilt beach with some interesting WW2 defences just above the tideline. The seaweed can be a bit ucky but it was easy enough to find a clear patch of shore when we visited in July. No facilities though, so best to go to the toilet before visiting.

Lovely quiet beach, all sand, you can walk quite a long way, small parking area though.
