Visited with a group of friends and had a really nice breakfast, many thanks and also nice you allow dogs in. To be honest, they were better behaved and quieter than some of the kids.Thanks snd super friendly staff

Took our toddler in today. We asked them to serve beans on toast as there was nothing on the lunch menu he’d have, however they refused. We were being served 3 minutes after the breakfast menu had closed, which has beans on toast on it. We were told this was because they were busy, despite the queue only being 1 other person except us. I also don’t understand how long toast can take to make, seen as jacket potato with beans was on the lunch menu. What a shame because it looked like a nice cafe and we would have liked to stay for lunch.

Fab play area for the children, the Grumpy cook cafe is a must for breakfast, lunch or just a piece of cake!

Visited the Grumpy Cook Cafe in the S&SC/meeting place. What a wonderful cafe. Lots of space to eat/drink inside and out. Friendly staff. Food to suit all budgets (honest!). Free parking.

Lovely English breakfast and the cakes looked really inviting, but sadly I couldn't fit one in after the English. Brilliant friendly staff too.
