Finn Lough Forest Hideaway

Stayed in the bubble in Sept, room was cold but very nice view and atmosphere, it has enclosed entrance and was located in a very hidden green field. Very comfortable bed and nice powerful shower! We drove from giant causeway to this pace which took us a well 3 hours… there is no highway connected to this place hence all country road, might be nice if you want to enjoy a long drive with nice scenery but for us it is a bit tiring.

Amazing experience. Super relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff. Service was fantastic. Food and drinks were worth every penny. Gin tasting was amazing and a lot of fun and informative. Spa treatments were brilliant with fantastic views of the lough. Lots of wild life too. Would highly recommend a trip to Finn lough. Don't let the price put you off, personally never been more relaxed.

Stayed 1 night in a forest dome and couldn't recommend the place enough. Fantastic from arrival to departure. Exceptional service from everyone we met, friendly, efficient but also with great personalities and humour. We did the Elements trail spa as an extra which was well worth it for complete relaxation. Our meal in the Barn was some of the best food we've ever had and the chef and service staff couldn't do enough to cater for special dietary needs. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

We went here with a couple friends and stayed in a Lodge. The space was amazing and the property is set against a forest backdrop, giving a nice scenic view - very nice and slow compared to Dublin’s pace. The package we booked has dinner included in it which was comprised of small plates for sharing. It was seriously one of the best meals I had in Ireland during our stay. The server was incredibly knowledgeable and recommended just the right amount of things. The bar included a lovely bartender who was great at mixing drinks and chatting. The spa was really nice and you walk outside from station to station amongst the forest. Overall, amazing people and we would highly recommend.

Had the most amazing experience in this little hidden gem. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The Domes are amazing, there were no clouds at all so we saw the stars perfectly from our bed, it was just the best. The cocktails were gorgeous and the atmosphere was fantastic. Loved every minute.

My wife and I stayed in the bubble dome one night a few weeks ago and it was outstanding. From the moment we arrived and until we left the next morning we had the best time. We enjoyed the trail spa experience and had one of the best dinner's we have ever had in the Barn Restaurant. The service there was just outstanding and it matched the food and drinks. Every single person we came in contact with at Finn Lough helped make our stay unforgettable. Would highly recommend this little gem and would definitely go back again if ever in Ireland. From the minute we arrived until we left, the whole experience was amazing.Massive thanks to James and his whole team for looking after us so well. When we got there James upgraded our stay to the premium bubble dome for my wife's birthday, really nice touch. We were shown around the whole property before we settled in as its a massive area and it was nice to get your bearings.We had the elements trail Spa as part of our package it was incredible, from the flotation tank, saunas and cold plunge in the lake, right up to the outdoor hot tub in the rain it was fantastic. The staff couldn't have been any more helpful and genuinely nice.We had dinner in the Barn restaurant that night and that was an experience itself, Michelin star quality.The stay in the dome was incredible, completely private and the experience of sleeping under the stars in pure luxury is something you should experience at least once in your lifetime.The next morning we had breakfast delivered straight to the dome after we did a quick cycle around the lake.I really cant recommend Finn lough highly enough. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here only for one night, wish we could have stayed for a week. The estate is absolutely breathtaking, tranquil and a good place to reset and unwind. We stayed in a beautifully equipped Lakeside Villa; it had everything you could need and want to feel like home. I wish I could have cooked in the kitchen as it was well stocked with a wall of windows looking down on the lake. We did the Elements Spa Trail upon arrival and it was the perfect way to ease into the evening. I loved all of the rooms, especially the Finnish Sauna. We had cocktails and wine in the bar before dinner and had great conversations with the staff. Our dinner was superb, really inventive and highlighted the seasonal local produce- the tartar was a highlight, as well as the shrimp in the coconut broth. Compliments to the kitchen! The next day we started our morning with a delicious breakfast basket that was delivered to our door, then we got ready for our final service at the Awen Spa. Loved the cold plunges in the lough and the peace of being out in nature. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. I will definitely return and tell all of my friends and colleagues to do the same! Thank you so much for the stellar service, Finn Lough.

I had a great stay at this beautiful resort. It’s a magical place that def offers a unique experience. I stayed in one of the Forest domes and would highly recommend staying in one of these. I also used the spa which I enjoyed, including sauna, jacuzzi and a jump into the lake. Dinner in the restaurant was nice but not extraordinary. Breakfast is delivered to your room in the morning and you have the option to choose what do eat. Overall, great experience and highly recommended. Book a midweek stay for a good deal.
