Good store & the new App seems impressive...only issue is the store needs to force people to use the tongs for the bakery section!! There is always someone squeezing things & picking things up with their hands!! In this Covid time it is unacceptable. On the plus side, there is usually a really good deal on wine each week #swings

Avoid this store absolutely appalling customer service especially from the management team. I saw a dead fly In the feash bakery section amongst the jam doughnuts so I reported it thinking the whole tray would be replaced so I watched them to see what they will do and to my surprise the management come along after five minutes and the same try of jam doughnuts was put back out again only this time the dead fly was removed I felt sick as all the jam doughnuts may have been contaminated by the dead insect avoid this store as the don't care about your food and only want your money!

I had no idea Lidl were planning to open a store here, so imagine my surprise when I was driving past. This makes 3 stores in Luton, planning to take over I think.Anyhow, the store is pretty much like the rest, decent size, bakery, no self-checkouts though. It was empty, probably because no one knows it's there. (Since edited)

I bought King Prawn Alfredo..The sauce tasted of lemon no cheese taste at all, the prawns where tough. Disgusting and disappointing. I had to throw it all away, also the cooking time was too long resulting in prawns being hard. Waste of money.

The shop was a little bit overcrowded and so many shelves were empty. The line in front of the till was long, we had to wait almost 3 minutes. The fruits and vegies are delecious here, so we buy these ingrediens here.

This store is very local to me and it makes shopping easier. They do tend to sell out quickly so you have to be quick if you need anything.

Double check prices when you are paying. A few brilliant staff but sometimes hit and miss. Standing desk frustratingly disappointing. Need more staff to ensure customers get more help and assistance. However some staff are quality and polite, so to these I am always grateful. With some items like garlic bread for example single pack significantly cheaper than multiple packs. Nice pastry.
