Went for lunch - again. Love this place- gorgeous location, staff are amazing, food is fab and love the atmosphere in the Boots Bar. And they let dogs in - huge bonus! Kids can't go into Boots, but they can go into the lounge bar to eat, and there is a grand playpark outside for them. Highly recommend going.

We are returning customers, we come here every few years so know what to expect. This review focuses on the accommodation as the bar and restaurant have been reviewed to death by others. The rooms are effectively wooden chalets connected to the main building, they are warm, clean and are provided with all of the usual hotel room facilities. The views from your room are breathtaking and Parking is available outside your room in some cases. Breakfast consists of either full Scottish, veggie option and/or continental. The full Scottish is huge, but obviously you can deselect as required. The staff are friendly and efficient, there were some new staff being trained whilst we were there but, the following day they were up to speed.

The Boots bar is in my opinion the best pub in Scotland, and over the years I have been to a few! We stayed in the nearby Heart of Glencoe cottages and visited the Inn every night after long days in the hills and enjoyed the history, atmosphere and especially the keg ales.

The one star is for the pub which is fantastic. Great atmosphere and friendly service at the bar from the woman with pink hair.I cannot recommend staying at the inn. We were given room 1A. I tend to stay up late reading in bed and my husband falls asleep way earlier. around 12am I saw something crawling on my pillow. It was small, I killed it then took it to the bathroom to examine not wanting to wake my husband up. Looked it up on my phone then went back to the bed to see if there are more. Within a minute I found 2 more. Then I was sure and woke up my husband. He found even more crawling under his pillow. We tried to contact staff but there were no one around. Tried calling the numbers for emergencies and no one picked up. With no other options we took our luggage to the car and tried our best to sleep on two chairs in the hallway close to the reading area. It is bitterly cold and windy outside. After a while we ended up trying to sleep in the car because the chairs were too uncomfortable. I understand this is an old establishment so certain lack of luxury is expected but they really should have at least someway for guests to reach for help, especially in light that we paid a lot of money to stay here only to freeze in the car. We can’t be expected to stay in a room with a bunch of bedbugs and no recourse. So eat at the pub, it’s great. Don’t sleep here.Update: the staff that came in the morning refunded us the money and gave us complimentary breakfast. They were very apologetic. One more star for the handling of our grievances.

Been here 3 times. Parked up over the road for the night in a camper. Had a great night ordered a steak that was mostly fat and gristle but rest of the meal was good. Was really busy and live music by Shine were on which was great. The beers were brilliant and to finish with a few whiskies was brilliant the lady that served us was fantastic

I stopped nearby and found this place on my walk. Packed and by all accounts if you want to stay, you need to book in advance. There is a pub bar at the back of the property which usually has live music, the beer was excellent, the atmosphere the same.I am definitely going back. Some amazing walks are nearby, as you will imagine.

I would like to give this place a good rating if it wasn't for the bad fit of the doors of the rear bar. Any heat generated in the whole of the downstairs area is rapidly lost through the rear doors. They have a perfectly good porch on the rear door, which, if closed would solve some of the problem. Instead, it is always wedged open, and the inner swing doors have a large gap in the middle. Who wants to sit in a cold pub. Even the staff wear coats at times. It's not expensive or rocket science to fix the problem.

We took a day trip and came across this lovely place. We ate at the restaurant/bar lounge. The atmosphere was great. The service was really good. The bathrooms were clean. The food was excellent. If you ever find yourself in this area I highly recommend going. Plus you get an excellent view as well.
