Gracious Care

I started work with this company last year and its the best job I have ever had. They really care about their care recievers and us as care givers. I am supported all the time. Nothing is too much trouble. I feel valued and recognised. If I have any queries or need anything the company are there at my side. I feel very lucky that I work for them and will continue to do so for as long as possible.

Gracious Care are a wonderful company to work for, although I've not been with them long they have been nothing but welcoming towards me and I've felt right at home. The team in the office are always on hand for chat, regardless of the issue and do their best to accommodate any needs that I have. The training I've received has been faultless and they take on board my opinions regarding customers. The individual care plans are every detailed to offer our customers the best care possible. Exactly what you want from a care company.

Working for this agency was an awful experience for me. I did a live in placement with them last year. The clients waking night carer called in sick one day. The office said they would find a replacement. They didn't. Out of a possible 31 hours, I was on duty for 27.5! The following morning I was told a relief carer would come at 10am so I could catch up on my sleep. 11am and no sign of them. So I ring the office and they said no she can't come now". Well thanks for letting me know earlier. Someone finally came at 2pm. An agency is supposed to be able to arrange cover in circumstances like this. They couldn't! The family of this client were also unhappy with what had happened. When they voiced their concerns

I have worked for Gracious care for over a year and it is by far the best company I have worked for. Everyone that I work with the carers and office staff are so supportive and always on hand should help be needed. I look forward to seeing my clients each day and love how we all work together to provide them with the best possible care.

My mum who suffers from Alzheimer’s was was having carers from this company for over a year, I cannot fault the carers but the management is appalling.Due to financial difficulties we asked for the morning call to be reduced from 45 minutes to 30 minutes, just 15 minutes difference and the manager of this company refused to reduce the call time mentioned that she would help and contact the council to get more funding and then changed her mind and decided to serve notice on my 92 year old father leaving him in a very vulnerable position with no care.Absolute disgrace !Christine, I am appalled at your uncaring disgusting attitude on my elderly parents, not a bit gracious or caring.You should be ashamed of yourself, how could you do this to someone who is already suffering so much pain, it beggars belief!If anyone is interested in this company, make sure you have a lot of money you will need it.

Gracious Care provide so much loving support to the elderly to help them maintain living in their own home. It is a truly am amazing company to work for and each day brings a new smile to our faces seeing all our wonderful customers.

Gracious Care do a fantastic job in supporting the families who have relatives with Dementia. I love working for them as the families are grateful in what we do for their loved ones.

I have been working in care for 6 years with various different company's, I joined Gracious Care in March and I can honestly say I have never been so happy in a work place, The management team and carers are all so supportive and welcoming, Gracious care is by far the best Job I have ever had. The team all go above and beyond for all clients.
