Bramblecrest Garden Furniture (BDP imports)

Initially the furniture was great, covered ever winter. But after not long the plastic weave has gone so brittle it just falls apart when you sit on it. Complete waste of money for a very expensive item.I would not recommend this type of furniture

Bought the Zurich sofa set £2300 in May, the frame was misaligned in a couple of places and looked terrible, they assured me I’d have a replacement sofa frame and finally had the replacement 5 MONTHS later!! I should have used the 30 days return policy but trusted them to replace sooner, annoying that I could also have bought the sofa online at any point during this time and I haven’t had a reason for not exchanging sooner. Love the sofa but simply wouldn’t recommend due to after sales customers services.

As many others have stated lasts for just the period of warranty and then disintegrates. I now regret having advised my mother in law to purchase. My complaints have been ignored by the retailer Dobbies and Customer service.They seem to have lost sight that for every complaint exponential bad publicity will follow. Or that it costs more to attract new customers. If they had responded to put it right I would have continued to be a loyal customerPlease share the message by the way within the space if another month since taking the wholes are wirse

I wanted to share my experiences with the team at Bramblecrest. 1st phone call Monday afternoon, 3 rings and a human picks up, they listened to my enquiry and directly perfectly on next actions as I wanted to order some replacement cushions for my furniture. After sending the email as requested I receive an immediate response, from then the operator (Rohit) guided me into what I needed to buy. I speed of responses was quicker than quick and I was always left impressed with his customer service. Roh also provided advise on caring for our existing covers. All in all a great experience. So not only are Bramblecrest a manufacture of great products, their aftersales service was even better. Great work guys, please keep up the magnificent supportRgdsJon.

Ordered a Parasol cover very recently, unfortunately got the wrong size and needed to send mine back for an exchange - Susan Brewster took care of the entire process including shipping returns. Can't fault the service and friendly interaction!

I had a minor problem with a missing cover from a set I ordered back in the spring, only noticed when I unboxed them to cover my furniture. Sue was very helpful and resolved the issue immediately as well as giving me some other useful info I requested. Very helpful and understanding, excellent service.

I recently contacted Bramblecrest with a query about spare parts. I received a prompt and helpful reply with rapid despatch of the parts once they had been properly identified. Customer service was quick, informative and friendly and very speedily arranged the despatch. I was very pleased with the response which epitomises excellent customer service. It is a pity that more organisations don’t perform to a similar standard. Thank you and well done Bramblecrest!

Update 15th December 2023: After 4 months and about 20 emails, I’m happy to report that Bramblecrest have responded to my complaint and are in the process of providing a replacement set of garden furniture. Hats off to their Customer Services team for finding a resolution. I’ve updated this review from one star, to four star to reflect this.“Designed to Last, Manufactured to Crumble”“Designed to Last” - but only just over 3 years. I purchased 3 separate sets of Bramblecrest garden furniture over a period of 3 years, based on the premise that it was of a high quality and from a reputable manufacturer. Unfortunately 1 of the sets, a “Chester Deluxe” 2 seater sofa, 2 chairs and coffee table, has started to deteriorate badly as the rattan-effect material crumbles as a consequence of apparent UV exposure. This set is just under 4 years old. Approaches to the retailer, Dobbies, and the manufacturer, Bramblecrest, have resulted in a blunt refusal to offer any remedies. Don’t be fooled into thinking paying a premium for garden furniture will ensure longevity.

I was looking for a table which was damaged, originally purchased as part of a set. I contacted Bramblecrest Sales direct and they kindly and quickly provided a price quote for the table. This was followed by a fast and efficient order, payment and confirmation process. Excellent service.

Although the cover for my garden furniture was dispatched, regrettably it was not delivered. The staff at Bramblecrest could not have been more helpful in organising a replacement which arrived yesterday.They were helpful, efficient, friendly and importantly very understanding of my problem. They also kept in touch with updates . Thank you very much for all your help and support which was much appreciated.
