Attempted to go to Jean's Wool Shop on Wednesday at 10am. But the store was closed. Not sure what the hours are. Nothing was posted.

Much of the yarn is behind the counter so you can't touch it without asking. The shelves are a nice way to display, but should be possible to get near them.It's mostly acrylic or acrylic blends, UK manufacturers. Think acrylic baby yarns and usual suspects. I wish they had more natural fibers.I'd have given this one star for me, I wasn't interested in the selection much. However, the shop was busy when I went in there. So it's a matter of what suits you.

Found it. THE best wool shop. Terrific selection of wools and patterns. Pat was a great help and her knowledge and expertise was very much appreciated. If you're thinking of lifting up the knitting needles then this is the shop to visit.

Was overwhelmed by the various amounts of yarn, I was going to get starter supplies for knitting, the staff where helpful and helped me make the right decision on which to go for.The staff were friendly and eased my nerves when I explained I was starting out, a pleasant visit to the shop.

Been to Jeans Wool Shop on the Cregagh Rd Belfast twice in the last week. It has just been reopened and I am so delighted with the service and the product range that they are now stocking . Previously I had to buy my favourite crochet hooks etc online …not now they stock everything you could possibly want. The young ladies who served and chatted with me were so friendly , knowledgeable and the customer service was superb. I will be back as a regular customer
