Wonderful service - arrived quickly and speedily changed our tyre.

Called this company and was quoted £261 for a tyre (usual cost between £153 & £200) and £180 call out fee. Agreed to pay as it was an emergency. Paid over the phone after being quoted this, gave postcode at the time of the quote. Five minutes after paying got a call to be asked for another £70 as, apparently, the guy when quoting didn't realise how far it was. Was told by the girl (who was very nice to be fair) that if that was too much we could have a refund. I said I would call her back after speaking to the car owner (my daughter in law). It was too much to pay so called back to ask for money back and the guy who gave the original quote answered and said he had already despatched someone who was fifteen minutes away (not true as he didnt arrive for another 45 minutes or so) and that if we cancelled we would have to pay the call out fee of £180 anyway!!!! I told him that the girl who took the payment had said that we could have the money back but he just said its too late I have sent someone so you will have to pay the call out fee. Obviously we had not choice but to agree or we would have lost £180.00. Having spoken to another tyre company in Stafford the job I was quoted £185 all in. Disgusted by the behaviour of the man on the end of the phone. They were just trying to get more money for the job. I understand that you pay more for emergency call outs but really, £256 more? Be warned.
