Boots Pharmacy

I've always had good experiences here. The chemist and the staff are governed by regulations and law. I've always found they do their best to assist. Helpful staff, in the main, click and collect is very helpful and efficient. Great to have you in our community.

Midanbury, Southampton. I have long since avoided going to this Boots, although it is the most logical one for my GP surgery. Mostly because of poor customer service and appalling staff attitudes. However, Thursday, 18th April, as I was on a tight time schedule, and having collected my prescriptions (10 diabetes related prescriptions in all for my husband and myself) from the Surgery I decided to take them into this branch. This was at 9 am in the morning. Realistically I was happy to collect during the afternoon. I just needed to make sure everything was in stock, so I asked. The assistant duly checked. Then the Pharmacist called over the Dispensary window sill that they were too busy to fulfill the prescriptions today, they wouldn't be ready for the afternoon, maybe Saturday, but probably more likely next week".He was off hand and abrupt. Not apologetic in any way. If I could give this a minus vote I would.I naturally took the prescriptions elsewhere."

Very quickly dealt with prescription enquiry and signed me up to text messaging service.

I will strongly disagree with the last comment, This Chemist do what they can do!! they cannot please everyone.You should be responsible for your own medication and ensure its delivered to the right place like in back days.I am visiting this pharmacy every month to collect medication for my dear friendand if there is a problem they will try to resolved by calling Drs like they always do. China lady is very helpful and knowledgeable so are the other staff.Sometimes they late but are you always on time everywhere you going?No because we are just humans.Please think what you saying before making comments as they trying to help all the Midanbury.

They text me notifying me my prescription is ready but when I get there it will only be part of what I've ordered, so I have to return for the rest. Then they text me at 4.30 on a Saturday notifying me prescription was ready to collect which only left me 30 minutes to be able to get to them before they closed. They had all day to get this done, why leave it to the end of the day? Needless to say I didn't get there in time. So frustrating. They have taken on too many customers and just can't cope with the demand, it was better when they still had the branch in Bitterne instead of pushing everyone into this tiny little shop. Not good.

Rude staff very unhelpful !! they messed up my repeat prescription and tried blaming me, they dont like taking any blame for anything. they truly dont give a s**t. This medication is my life saver without it I am in alot of pain and out of work im self employed so not ideal. I'm now still waiting for this medication, not sure who actually got it wrong their blaming docs, docs are blaming them, pharmacy are blaming me !! And now I am barely able to walk due swollen painful joints. Negligence at its best!!!!

Been going here for years the ladies are always polite and always have the advice I need for ailments with myself or my children :)

Witts Hill Boots are brilliant - really fast to get CD medication in and always helpful over the telephone. We are very happy to go out of our way to come here. We had previously used the Boots next toor to the Living well partnership on Thorold road, but after 100s of quite frankly disastrous dealings with their appalling staff we were glad to find a place with kindness and genuine pharmaceutical expertise at the forefront of the service.

The worst pharmacy I have ever used. Service very slow. Staff are useless. Don’t use if you can avoid. Terrible in every way.

Always a pleasant experience when I pop in for my medication. Never had an issue with repeat prescriptions, or any other one-off prescription. Staff are professional and kind, very accommodating.
