Dr Mark Phillips, the hand surgeon I saw is fabulous. His treatment sorted out an issue I had on and off for about fifteen years. I am so grateful and will return should I (unlikely) have any other problems. Such a calm friendly manner and knows exactly what he is doing having pioneered a lot of his methods. Superb experience. Career saving.

Last April a Chiropractor friend noticed me limping and I said I had a hip issue. He recommended Consultant Orthpaedic Surgeon, Henry Atkinson should I wish to be referred. In July I made the initial appointment for a consultation. Being recommended to Henry has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. He is a kind, charming and excellent practitioner exuding a quiet assertive confidence, and more importantly, very approachable. His care and attention is exemplary. I could not have been under better or more capable hands.

Had total knee replacement carried out by Mr Henry Atkinson on the 18th November 2023. I found Mr Atkinson very professional and at the same time very personable. He gave me full confidence in both the procedure and the the necessary rehabilitation. He has a great 'bedside' manner and takes time with you to explain issues as well as touch on the wider world. I have no hesitation in recommending him. His team, especially Carla, were also very helpful and friendly. I could not fault the care I received at the Cavell Hospital

I have had the pleasure of treating Ian MrDermott’s patients for two decades now and am consistently impressed by the results of his surgery, however complex the case. There are few people more passionate about informing patients of all the latest research in the field. As a physio it’s also reassuring to know that Ian will not operate unless absolutely necessary and always has the best interests of the patient at heart.

The experience I had at London Sports Orthopaedics was fantastic. Everything was done in-house, on the same day. When I arrived at the clinic, I was sent for an MRI scan. I then came back up to see Mr Ian McDermott straightaway, which transposed into me having my full consultation on the same day, within the hour, which was amazing. I had my knee replacement operation done at London Bridge Hospital. The level of care that I received from Mr Ian McDermott was five-star.

I visited Suresh Chandrashekar and was very happy with the service! After visiting 2 other specialists privately and a failed surgery, I started seeing Dr Chandrashekar. He was miles better than everyone else I had seen. He listened with empathy and care as I walked him through my issues and he had to deal with an incredible number of questions which multiplied exponentially as I researched and researched. I think there are very few people, let alone doctors who would have been so calm and patient with me and dealt so well with all my anxiety from my failed surgery. After a thorough investigation, I ended up having to have quite a lot done. I had a painful accessory navicular and my previous surgeon had not removed it completely so I was still having pain, compounded with an even more severe flat foot. Dr Chandrashekar corrected this by performing an accessory navicular excision, tendon reconstruction (as the other one was very damaged), and a calcaneal osteotomy to address the issue with my arch. He explained all of this to me in great detail multiple times as well as to my family and was just incredibly accommodating! He is easily the best doctor I have dealt with, both in terms of skill, expertise and especially patient service!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone and would see him for any future medical issues if I could!

I was seen by Mr Atkinson for meniscus repair and ACL reconstruction. He advised me that the meniscus repair may not hold as it was badly torn (a previous surgeon just wanted to cut it out) however over 6 months later everything is holding up just fine which must be a credit to his surgical skills! Besides that, I found him to be extremely approachable, helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend him and would choose him again should I have any other ortho issues in future
