My first order arrived and the logs were all around 38-40+% moisture content. I complained as they swapped the logs over for “dry” logs. A few of the logs on top were still around 26-30% however when I stacked the first few layers sure enough the ones on the bottom still had a high moisture content.Their website claims “Forget trying to burn freshly cut wood that won’t light, spits and burns the carpet. All our logs have been stored, seasoned and split correctly”I am now very frustrated as my log store is full of logs that I cannot burn this year.

Extremely disappointed that their prices have gone to 10£ the bag. We have been ordered from them for 2 years and the quality of the wood has gone down but their prices have doubled so I'm sorry but I won't them again. And would not recommend them now.

Bought a ton bag and kindling last October and the service at the time was great. I’ve just had my chimney swept and was told the soot is exactly as it should be, indicating we’re using quality, dry logs. From Honnington Logs.

Logs and kindling contained far too much moisture and neither would burn effectively. Far too much effort to achieve any heat from the wood. You need to consider if it really is worth buying.

ROTTEN LOGS. Ordered two bulk bags of logs. Half of logs were rotten. Bags full of rotten wood chips and dust (see pic). They took one bag back but did not acknowledge the problem. Slow to refund. Hard times.

Never had a problem with these logs before but just recently have gone from £7.50 a bag to £10, and they're full of moisture! I used a moisture meter to test them and they're above 22% (meter doesn't go any higher).

Excellent and really well priced logs. Honesty box makes life a lot easier as you can pick up logs any day of the week.

Very disappointed, about 30% of the logs were rotten through, and hidden underneath the good ones in the bag. Won't be using again, can't recommend..... avoid!!!
