What a pleasure it was to spend the morning here with my two littles. The children’s area exceeded my expectations and the staff were super helpful & friendly.I had lunch in the cafe and that was also super tasty as well as reasonably priced. We will be returning!

Staff are polite and helpful, offered help when I sprained my ankle climbing. Walls are always changing giving more variety throughout the week, also have good gym equipment for use of other training. Did replace the calisthenics equipment with a bench but, enjoyed that more. Overall, brilliant place to go to, even has a kids.

Nice staff, nice atmosphere. I was impressed by the range of climbing shose they had on sale although I was not there to buy. However, all the holds were filthy and polished, which in turn compromised grip for both hands and feet so they could do with a much needed clean.

We had my sons 9th birthday party here today. Sophie (I think) was absolutely amazing with the boys and they all had an amazing time! Can't thank them enough for a great day! Thanks

My go-to bouldering gym. Lots of routes, changed regularly. Walls are smooth, in contrast to Prop Store. No roped climbing but they also have a small free weights area as well as moonboarding. Also has a kids section and a small climbing store for shoes, clothes, harnesses, chalk etc. Cafe too.Great vibes, everyone is really friendly and up for a chat. Lots of variation in routes so there's something for everyone.Membership is expensive compared to a regular gym (~£50 per month), and it can get very busy after work on weekdays.

The Climbing Academy in Glasgow. It’s a big gym, so there are more then enough routes to keep you satisfied.Grading is 5/5+ and then it goes to 6A etc.Easy to use app Griptonite to see the levels and keep track of what you have climbed.I did miss a bit more slabs. Almost everything is vertical or overhang and slabs can be so much fun and scary.Coffee is really great and plenty of choice from food and snacks.Training area is small, but enough boards to train those arms and fingers.

They don’t clean the holds and this makes climbing harder and more gross. The allow too many people into the gym and don’t have a max capacity. Staff aren’t that friendly. I do like how often they change the climbs though

The Climbing Academy is an excellent bouldering gym! Spent about 2 hours here on the wide variety of climbs, which were suitable for all skill levels. The place was very clean and the staff were kind. There are lots of locker spaces available to put your shoes and belongings as well as a space to train. I didn't bring any, but they also have a huge climbing space for younger kids! Great experience.

Excellent route setting. The routes feel more difficult than other climbing gyms due to the smooth walls but I enjoy it. There is now a very good squat rack with weights, safety features and pull up bars attached which is an amazing addition. There is now more space for bags which was definetly required so its great to see newsroom improving itself based on customers desires.

Extremely overpriced at £50 a month is crazy. The staff do not regularly clean any holds making most climbs more difficult than they should be due to you slipping off the wall. The cafe is also extremely overpriced. Most gyms of this scale would be cheaper cleaner, the gym is also over capacity. Looking at you, the climbing hanger in Liverpool. What needs to change:They need a max membership capacity.Cheaper membership.Clean holds before putting them back on the wall when setting. They have said in other replies they regularly clean holds, but I've saw absolutely filthy newly set climbs.Brushing them in not enough, you need a bucket with soap to properly clean them, then a rack to try them
