Ordered some alloy wheel bolts. Stated need alloy wheel length not standard. They confirmed they were. Collected and took home to find standard sizes. Returned. Then rang up and asked about bulbs and was talked to like dirt. I said bulbs not headlights. I asked if any H7 good brands in he said no time to check. I asked if any night breaker etc in. He said probably loads hanging up on the shelves. So I came in and lo and behold nothing there like that and... Bulbs right behind them behind the counter. Some of the staff are very good but obviously some aren't. Won't be going back

Me Hi I'm after Castrol 0w 30 engine oil" GL "We dont do castrol.........Me "So thats it? no castrol? no alternative? " Not sure where this guy got his sales skill from. How about "Sorry we dont supply Castol however we do this premium brand as an alternative its £x for 1L and £x for 4L .Shocking attitude in the wrong job or having a bad day."

Bought a replacement door mirror glass(stick on type).When I ordered it they asked for my vehicle registration so I thought there couldn't be any mistakes but when I came to fit it I noticed it was the wrong shape so looked on the internet to find out that there was 2 shapes and they had sold me the wrong one .I spoke to one of the staff who would not be convinced that there was another shape so he handed me over to a more senior member of staff who got rude and arrogant with me and disputed that the mirror a universal one and should fit. Both shapes are available on the internet at £7.99 each compared with £15 that GL charged. MY ADVICE IS TO COMPARE PRICES AND DONT GET OVERCHARGED FROM THESE TYPE OF OUTLETS!

Helpful as usual, knowledge and interested in the business. Always worth ringing up to order your part they usually have it in but will definitely be able to tell you quickly when it will arrive or where else to get if you can't wait the very shot time it may take. The shop has a good effective layout too. Parking is limited but there is usually a space if you're creative. Beware of parking on the street though as parking on some lines is liable to get you booked. GL has extremely competitive pricing too and a good range of quality brands.

Got a new van registration plate as I had lost mine. Reasonable price £10 and I only had to wait for about 10 minutes whilst it was done there and then. It took a few minutes for someone to serve me but they were all very busy (one of the indicators of a successful company I suppose).
