Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in staff are smiling and they greeted us on arrival, beer garden had the sun beaming on it which made the cold pint more enjoyable!!

Despite being virtually empty, our food seemed to take ages and when my hunters chicken finally turned up it was served with 'gravy' - but i wouldnt call it that. it was gravy powder with warm water - and still tasted of the powder! the processed slice of cheese was still sitting on top (not even near melted) the staff were less than apologetic and the girl behind the bar couldn't care less ! the birds enjoyed it tho.

I always use this pub as a stop off when I wait for my dog to be groomed next door. I usually have a meal and soft drink. Food is lovely and reasonably priced. Staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful.

Visited here for some food and drinks with friends, the service was outstanding and the food tasted absolutely delicious. Stacy is doing a brilliant job making this pub better for that visit, she is always welcoming and always makes sure everyone is looked after. Keep up the great work Stacy you are a true asset to this pub.

This is my local pub and its great. Stacy the new landlady is amazing g and have worked hard to torn the pub around. Food is really hkd and great prices, always hot and sizzling. Shame we don't have much entertainment but Stacy is trying. Will recommend this place to all my family and friends as is really is a good night out.

Tried both the Breakfast & Daytime Menu (All together 9/10), the food is lovely, decent portion sizes for the most part & the price isn't too bad.28/05/2023 - After trying the breakfast menu the other day thought I'd try the daytime menu, starters were a decent portion size for the price & tasted quite nice (Cool Original Nachos, Salt & Pepper Mushrooms & Onions Rings) also got Cheesy Garlic Bread but that was just okay... for the mains the Gammon Steak was 10/10, Fish & Chips 7/10 would easily be a 10 if it had more chips... the Hot Dog however 3/10 the size of it for the price is a big no, the microwave hot dogs you get for £2.49 in the shops are bigger & you get 2 of them, I will say the hot dog did taste very nice but can't justify spending nearly £10 on it... £7 or Under would be perfect... overall I'd give 7/10 I do think I prefer the breakfast menu.26/05/2023 - Breakfast stuff was very nice & for a decent price for the portion size too, highly recommend Bacon and Maple Waffles & The Big Breakfast.

We went for a quick family dinner, Chloe served us and Jess cooked our food. I ate here before but I think the kitchen set on fire, and the chicken I ordered wasn't seasoned jerk. I got the chicken platter, my son for the hit chicken burger(can't remember what is called). Their bbq sauce is amazing btw. We got brownie and make your own sundae for dessert.They said they have a new manager now and the place seemed a bit more cared for. The staff were helpful and kind plus they spent about 5 mins trying to get the kids toy machine working for my little one who had her £1 to spend on the machine.They don't have full day pepsi on tap but they do have bottled Pepsi which is cheaper than the full fat coke. It's alright in there, they need new decor and tables were proper sticky but the staff said they were fixing the place up so we will defo be back.. other customers were friendly and even gave my bubba another quid for the machine. The football came on but it was still a nice atmosphere. Didn't get rowdy.

Really nice place to have a beer and a steak. I asked for my steak medium rare and it was cooked to perfection, beautiful. Compliments to the chef. My mum was really happy with her jacket potatoe. The kids burgers were tasty and great value. Will be visiting again soon.
