Having had a total knee replacement I found Prof Patel very friendly, caring and reassuring. He took the time to explain everything in full detail before and after the operation, as well as answering all questions. During my hospital stay all the staff were also very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Absolutely amazing clinic and staff. Professor Patel is an amazing surgeon he explains exactly what you are having done with estimated timelines and lots of follow up appointments. If I ever need surgery again this would be the place I would wish to come. 5 star service from reception to nurses to surgeons

In June 2022, I had a total right knee replacement undertaken by Professor K Patel at the Fylde Coast Spire Hospital.From my initial consultation through to my post operation consultation nearly three weeks later I was kept informed as to my progress and could not have wished for more.Three weeks after my operation I am able to walk short distances without support and continue to make progressI have no hesitation in recommending Mr Patel and the Fylde Coast Spire to anyone considering a knee replacement.

I recently underwent a very successful day case procedure at BMI Lancaster for a right knee arthroscopy under the care of Prof Patel. I received exemplary care from all the staff at the hospital and offer my grateful thanks. From the porter to the anaesthetic staff I was treated with kindness, consideration and respect. Mr Patel was excellent and he talked me through the knee replacement procedure and answered all my questions and concerns before the operation. After the operation he came to see me and said everything went well and he was happy, I’m now 6 weeks pre op and my knee feels some much better than before. Thank you
