Basildon Post Office

Absolutely terrible service I've been waiting for important documents to come that I know were posted first class 13 days ago they still haven't arrived..birthday card posted from basildon to colchester 9 days ago first class not arrived.Service is a total shambles and you have the cheek to keep increasing the postage unbelievable..I've not seen a postman/postwomen in weeks utterly disgraceful I've had things from China quicker than royal mail post!!!!and they say this is progress!!!! Shocking

My 2 packages are a week late. Tried calling up this post office but it's impossible to get in contact with a real human. Says press 2 to file complaints. Pressed to and it just repeats a message over and over again about redirecting mail then cuts you off. I'm sick of staying in everyday waiting for my items to arrive. I've had plans this week but havnt been able to do them since they never leave packages in the safe place, if you don't answer the door within five seconds (hard for me as I live in a 2nd story flat and and to run down to main doors) then they'll leave.They will ignore you if you talk through a Ring doorbell too. My mum asked one of the delivery men to leave it in the shed next to the house, very loudly, and he looked at the ring doorbell, then left.

Waited all day yesterday for a scheduled delivery. Doorbell didn't ring at all and just found a Something for you card advising they will redeliver the item today. So again, waited all day today (tracking said it will be delivered today) then found out they will not do it! 2hat a waste of my 2 days!!!!!! I should have picked the item up myself!!!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. How on earth does it take 4 days to receive a parcel that was guaranteed next day by 1pm. They always send my parcels to the wrong places. Multiple occasions of having a parcel rerouted because they consistently send them to the Romford mail centre and not the Manchester one. Hire people that will actually do the job they get paid to do!!!! I work in a post office myself so I know for a fact it’s not hard. This branch is just lazy, ignorant and incompetent to the very core. Don’t come here if you want things to arrive/be delivered on time. Absolute joke.

This is a joke 4h a day ?!?!? And people are wanting to get their delivery are working people !!!and we can't even get our stuff on normal time after we finish the job.This place should be closed completely and the other post offices in basildon should get our things so we can just collect it after work as normal. I really don't know who is running this place!?

I am actually appalled with this office. I have been on the phone filing complaints with royal mail all week because of them.I bought some live insects to feed my pets from an online shop, paid for next day delivery, this was on sunday. They was posted early monday. Next day came, no package, couldn't attempt delivery" checked for a red note

The woman everyone is complaining about in the reviews is a problem. Overcharging and overselling stamps/ postage that I haven’t asked for is wrong. If I ask for a 1st signed for, do not charge me for a special 1 day guarantee because you want to even though I’ve said no. It’s ridiculous. Not the first time she’s done this.The first time I let it go. But after today & reading the other reviews it’s a pattern.Last time I’ll be using this branch.

The young lady with dark hair at the collection point is lovely and really helpful. The only reason for 3 stars is the fact that my parcel has still not been delivered despite saying it should be out for delivery.

If you receive items via this post office. Do not buy expensive shipping. They never post on time. Been waiting a week now for my dogs ashes that were next day guaranteed by 1pm. And another that I paid £15 for that same shipping, both havent arrived. Theyve been ready to deliver" for days now. Every single item I get from this post office

I use to visit this post office 3 to 4 times but I m totaly unsatisfied due to one of the #ASIAN LADY sitting their is very arrogant no smile on her face at all talks in attitude with us and doesn't guide us politely with what ever issue we have. She always treated wrongly to us all the time we went their we don't know what attitude she hasUK is not the country of keeping attitude to each other we should always be helpful to each other and dear Asian lady you are paid to to serve us politely and calm ly.
