The Promenade Dental Practice

Iv been with promenade for a few years now and it is honestly the best practice I have ever been with. Struggling with a phobia of the dentist I have always felt completely out at ease whenever I visit. Ida the dentist I see regularly is absolutely amazing and has always made me feel comfortable and heard. All my treatments from her have been done so well. Cannot recommend promenade enough!!

My 2nd visit to Dr. Aida Abas was a great experience as usual . She immediately puts you at ease with her calm profesional demeanour. Dr Aida and her team have a way of making your visit personalised, comfortable and stress-free.

All the staff are friendly and put you at ease. Aida my dentist is exceptional andExperienced, really friendly she talks me through all procedures . Would highly recommend

I had composite veneers on my 6 front teeth back on the 30th June. Very happy with the speed I was able to be booked in. The whole process was very smooth. For the actual treatment I saw Dr Aida Abas. She was excellent, explained everything she was doing, every step of the way. The dental nurse, Hannah I think I remember her name was was also lovely. I felt in very good hands, was a very professional set up and I felt very looked after. Aida even made the experience fun. It's now 24th July, so almost a month on. I've had no issues with the veneers. My bite is as good as it ever was and I practically forget they are there and they look great. Would totally recommend the practice and especially Aida. Would go to again without hesitation and the price was very reasonable.

I needed 2 fillings my old dentist had not long left I was given Aida who was absolutely amazing did quick work with the fillings and I became her patient... Also Pat and the rest if the team as always are professional and make yiu feel at home

Update Dec 2023 on awful appointment with Aida ABBAS - Had the tooth extracted by the Dental Hospital as it was beyond saving....... Absolutely appalling treatment from Aida Abas! I had an appointment with Aida Abas who was rude, contemptous and the worst dentist I have seen for years. Even though my notes state I am a nervous patient, she began my check up very abruptly while talking at me the whole time. Contemptuous attitude. No empathy or person-centred care at all. And then announced she had to apply fluoride varnish - without asking or telling me what it was! When I asked, she began an elaborate mime, saying 'you know, like varnishing a door' and stepping back to mime this with elaborate gestures. All the time glancing over my head to look at her nurse while smiling as if it was a great joke. Dreadful behaviour! So instead of a simple explanation as to what the varnish was, she chose to publicly mock and humiliate a patient in the chair for her and her nurse's amusement.When I asked her not to patronise me in this way, she disagreed and continued talking at me, non-stop. When I tried to explain how this was making me feel and why I was not happy, she gestured with her head for her nurse to shut the door! Now, I have no idea why the door was open during my check up but to close it at that point felt awful to me and made me feel claustrophobic and panicky. Suddenly trapped with this woman with an aggressive manner and effectively feeling trapped in the chair by her standing right by me and the x ray machine arm sort of enclosing me. I felt upset, anxious and panicky and made it clear I needed to leave but she would not move and kept talking, talking, talking at me in a fast and agitated tone. As I was clear I did not want the fluoride treatment, I asked 'Are we done, can I leave now?' and repeated this at least twice (a few minutes apart) before she moved the arm of the X-ray machine and herself.She was terrible. I felt as though I was in a prison with a nightmare dentist. I made a complaint and later asked if I could continue my treatment with another dentist (as I had a broken tooth and was in a lot of pain) but was told I had de-registered myself! This was not true at all - I had said I could not see awful Aida again as the treatment was so upsetting. Thank you Promenade for leaving me in extreme pain with an untreated abscess!If you are looking for a dentist, I would look elsewhere. Since I added this review, there are suddenly a little spate of positive reviews for this person - interesting timing, don't you think? :)This is a true and accurate review of treatment by Aida Abbas.

Regina has been my dentist for almost 20 years, and takes great care of my teeth. All staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Pat on Reception. Everyone is professional and I am always fully informed of any treatment I am to receive. I couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough, especially for nervous patients.

I have been to Promenade twice so far. My dentist is Dr Aida. She has helped me with the health of my teeth during a pregnancy and post pregnancy too.Great care and advice from a friendly dentist that makes the whole experience nice and easy.The ladies at the front desk were lovely too.Thank you!

I can't recommend & thank Promenade dental practice enough. The reception team & particularly Pat, were exceptionally compassionate & caring when I was suffering with tooth pain and went above & beyond to support me. I received excellent quality treatment from Dr Rocha who was so professional; patient, kind and reassuring throughout the procedures. Thank you to all of the dental nurses and to Dr Bormann who was fantastic. A wonderful dental practice!

Aida has been my dentist for the last 18 months and I hadn’t been for considerable length of time before then. The work has been excellent and pain free, my teeth are in a much better state. I would also like to add that overall experience has been excellent from booking to dental work done. Highly recommended!
