Went at 5pm on a Sunday, for dinner before a cinema trip. Convenience wise, it was useful. The wait staff were pleasant too. However, we were stood at the please wait to be seated" sign for 10mins. Ordering was relatively painless

The Wessex Flyer Brewers Fayre
Went here on a Sunday for a carvery about 3pm. Still plenty of food for everyone else in the queue except they'd ran out of roast beef a few customers after me. There was plenty of turkey and ham/gammon left and it was cooked perfectly and not to dry. Lots of veg on offer and the cauliflower cheese was done to perfection, Yorkshire puds were big and done right although chef could of added a bit more salt ( personal opinion). 3 adults and 1 child with drinks came to £40 and considering you could have all three meats plus as much veg and as you like I'd say this place was a bargain. Staff were friendly and were on the ball at all times.

Plenty of free parking here. Easy access to the pub including a ramp for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Greeted and seated on arrival by friendly staff. Food arrived after about 15 minutes, not bad for a busy Sunday. I had the mixed grill. It was well cooked and a good plate full, same for the Lasagne that my wife had. We would recommend both dishes.Very large pub, plenty of space here.

Absolutely a waste of money! How this is still operating is beyond me, definitely Sunday carvery is keeping it going. Ordered a steak that was cold and 30% fat cold chips under cooked peas, other was a curry again cold with soggy popedom. Menu is scaled down and uninspiring!! Stay away

A huge scruffy pub, there to service the Premier in next door I presume. The tables, carpet and seats were dirty and seats torn. It was a Friday but there is no table service and no app to order food from the table. There was no organisation behind the bar so literally every person for themselves, although customers did queue orderly. Certainly not enough staff for such a busy night. It took me 26 minutes in a queue just to place my order. Needless to say we did not return on our second night at the hotel.

Family Xmas meal for 20 people. No pre orders or deposits taken so was a little worried. No need brilliant service and food. Manager was very helpful nothing was to much trouble. Very impressed and food amazing. Well done. The best hassle free Xmas meal we have done.

All staff were impeccable during our visit today. Our meals were served in a timely manner and were very tasty and good value for money.The only negative I have is the table and chairs were a bit dated & scruffy and need replacing.
