Nice and peaceful, it’s about a 2.3km walk around the whole thing

Love this area. A great, spacious, expanse of field and forest, not too far from Salford. Good place to go for a walk, run, wander or cycle. Peaceful & invigorating. My favourite area is the little forest path, around which you can walk the outskirts of the wetlands - very idyllic.

Wetlands is a nice wide open space, quiet place to walk, and lots of various birdlife on the water to see. Ideal for an easy stroll and to get some fresh air.

A really lovely long walk, good for bikes too. There's a lot of dog walkers and it can get very busy on the weekends. I easily do 10,000 steps here without even noticing. It is also connected to kersal Dale which is a nice walk too.

Nice place to walk, despite being in/near the heart of the city, it feels like you've gone to the countryside.

Best place to calm yourself and more to nature.Enough long track good for running, jogging, cycling also good track for prams.Along river different birds you can see.Parking is the issue I think, council should do something for this.

Free entry. Great place to reconnect with mother nature. The roads are great for walking, cycling or pushing a pram.

Favourite place for a walk and to relax. There is always a flock of Canadian goose in the centre of the field between 10-50 each time, really fabulous to see.Different photos from the last few weeks
