Bicycle Lane At Island Bikes

There have been 2 occasions when the Bike Lane mechanics have given me good advice and helped with a problem with the bikes I was riding at the time. The 1st was my Decathlon Triban 5. The back wheel bearing were crunching, The mechanic tightened thd wheel gor me and advised me to get it seen to ASAP.The 2nd time I was on my partners bike (hybrid) the front brake would squeak when applied. The mechanic adjusted the brake and made sure it didn't stick or squeak. These mechanics based in Stratford have been a god send and I hope they continue to help us cyclists out when on our journeys. 10/10.UPDATE: UPDATE:I travel down from Rochester, to have the shop owner fix my bike. Simply put, outstanding service.

I needed a replacement part on my bike and these guys went above and beyond! They replaced it at a very reasonable cost and greased a few other parts including my chain as they ‘spotted it needed it’ AND I don’t think my bike has been so clean in a long time! 100% recommend Island bikes to everyone !

A hidden gem! Tucked away in a new street in Stratford east London this bike shop offers brilliant walk in service with very attentive staff. This is by 5th time of using them and they have very affordable prices.

The shop gives such a nice vibe, the guys are very professional and prepared. They replaced the BB from my Boardman 8.6 and now is much smoother, highly recommend! Solid 5stars!

Really happy with the work i had done on my Bike today - it’s so convenient they are based in the park and they did the repairs I’d been putting off for ages, while I sat in the sun. They were really informative and weren’t at all pushy and helped me prioritise what urgently needed doing from my list of problem, and what we could wait and we could do in the future. Thanks again, feel a lot safer now my breaks are sorted and my seat is fixed
