Findhorn Foundation

We’ve been staying for 3 days now. We love it here. The food at the cafe is great , the shop is well stocked with organic food, the people are friendly, the gardens blooming. We have a 9 month old and she’s been enjoying it too. The houses are a joy to look at, it feels like a wholesome way of living. Every day people in the community sing and meditate together, it’s great. We had the fortune to bump into Ian the man who built the singing chamber and nature sanctuary, between others, .. what an inspiration to see the way he works and get to know him a little. This is the most amazing place I have ever been to. I have now been 3 times over 2 years. Each time for a week. This is a spiritual eco village. Part of there income comes from offering retreats and workshops abit like a mystery spiritual school of life or the universe. The atmosphere is unbelievable. I have never witnessed so many people greeting and smiling with such love. Everyone is included. Everyone makes you feel so welcome.The food is amazing most of it from the peaceful organic gardens which you may get to work on. Or you may get to work in the kitchens to provide the food for the community this work truly is love in action. The retreats and people running them are also amazing, wise and kind. They hold the silence and embrace the nature.The scenery is second to none. Close to the beach and woodlands.You will find lots of quite peaceful areas and meditation areas. All the building are unique and wonderful to look at.Everyone needs to experience this place with an open mind and heart.They are now offering online material, talks and workshops in the pandemic. I hope they open again soon. In the mean time I’m joining a few online talks to help them survive. I would recommend if you need a bit of spiritual rocket fuel for the mind and soul.Thank you findhorn foundation.

Love this place ❤ relaxing and happy. Shocked to find they had a incident last night resulting in 1 arrest and two fires . All OK with no injuries and they shall rebuild.

A very special place with a remarkable history

Rented a 2 bedroom lodge for a week, was really impressed. Comfortable, clean and very relaxed atmosphere.

This is a super friendly and helpful place very beautiful surroundings i.e Findhorn beach and harbour great food super child friendly.Great place for all the family.

It's a lovely and spiritual place with lovely and spiritual people. Leave your mobile at home and join the adventure of self-discovery.Oh and don't forget the dunes.My favorite experience was swimming in the ocean during storm. The waves lift you up 2meters in the air, just breathtaking.

There is something fantastic and yet almost surreally absurd about this place. Great eco housing, very relaxed atmosphere. Great cafe (try the Death by Chocolate cake) and interesting shop. The Universal Hall is a great venue with good acoustics and again a relaxed but welcoming feel.
