It's a lovely store with a kind and professional staff. They rescued my day, I had a place in the Half Marathon and my baggage got lost in the nirvana from the aeroplane company. So they sold me the proper equipment for a good price. And despite the store was overcrowded by all the runners the staff still stood kind courteous and friendly.

I ordered at 0700 in the morning, received a prompt email confirming my order, then a further email confirming the dispatch from the warehouse. Everyone that is reading this knows what they're looking for this is the specialist running shop in Newcastle. I needed to drop in because I'm fairly new to this running lark and wanted an expert opinion.I was offered a few choices, but more-or-less opted for the first pair I was shown. They are comfortable and feel like they fit spot on.I was even to told that I should try them a few times around the house before going running.The really knowledgeable staff made me feel supported and comfortable in making making a choice of shoe. Certainly I'll be back.

Bought some hiking boots from here online and they arrived well-wrapped and promptly. Then a few weeks later had an issue with the boots springing a leak (not the shop's fault) and emailed asking for advice.Michelle replied within an hour and sorted out a return for me, and got a replacement pair processed immediately because I'm off on holiday shortly and need the boots. Also spoke on the phone as had an issue posting and Michelle helped me sort things out quickly.Fantastic service, highly recommend. Thanks Michelle, I'll remember Northern Runner now whenever I need shoes or boots.

Went today to get my first proper pair of running shoes. John helped me with a gait analysis and spent nearly an hour with me making sure I got the right shoe. I was a little nervous because I’m fairly new to running but he was so friendly and helpful, and was very easy to chat to. 100% would recommend this shop! Thanks, Northern Runner ✨

Great shop with very friendly staff!Went in for some road shoes during what was a very stressful time for staff - stock had just been stolen and they had gone from being relatively quiet to super busy. Despite this, they remained very friendly, patient, and were a huge help. Much appreciated and would highly recommend!

Went a year ago and absolutely delighted with the help, advice & time taken to get me the best pair of trainers I've ever had! 1cm insole needed & super wide feet were no problem whatsoever. Heading up there today to buy another pair. So worth the £!!

Terrible - I'm out a £100 from some shoes that don't fit. And no one has even contacted me to explain why. Don't buy from them online as you wont be able to return and will just have lost your money
