Great display of memorabilia associated with the Buchan railway line. Volunteers had a very good knowledge of its contribution to the community over the years.

Great little gem to spend a little time looking round.very helpful volunteers , with some unusual exhibits the prison carriage. A little train to ride on for kids and grown ups for only a pound. Check when open at weekends

A small museum open every 2nd weekend during the summer , doesnt take long to get around but its packed with memoriblia , uniforms , photos and station signs from the F&B railway

Was very interesting to see photos of the old railway lines. The children loved a go on the small train. The men where very nice.

Maud Railway Museum
Free to visit on various dates through the year, Maud Railway Museum gives visitors a day to remember. A miniature rail line offers the experience of a train ride through the countryside and back whilst the enthusiastic volunteers have a wealth of information to share and stories to tell which tell the history of The Great North of Scotland Railway. Newly renovated toilets including baby changing facilities make this an enjoyable day out for the entire family.
