Really simple and effective on a Friday night. Great for a gathering. Expensive but nice food. The atmosphere was quite quiet. And relaxed. A lovely evening

Beautiful place to visit, had a champagne afternoon tea which was very well presented. Stunning grounds and a lovely welcoming atmosphere. The staff were very attentive and even.assisted moving us inside when it started to rain heavily. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning grounds. Very good and attentive service. Had the hamburger for dinner. Huge serve , meat / hamburger patty slightly on the over cook side here was dry

Went to WoMENTA launch event which was fantastic - great events venue, good food served, lovely staff made us welcome. Only went to Hangar area which has a star studded sky ceiling and cabaret tables. Sound system excellent. #eventsvenue

The rooms, service and location were perfect for spending time at a local customer. The reason for a single star lost overall? The cost. It's not cheap. That's not to say that you don't get what you pay for. It's a lovely place to stay with a nice view when the weather's good.

Overpriced for what it is, rude staff, open kitchen is nice, but all you hear is swearing and shouting from the kitchen which is a let down and the front of house staff are always leaning on the counter to talk to the chefs which I find is rude and unwelcoming. I won’t be back in a hurry

Came for Sunday roast, food was lovely, service was absolutely shocking, ordered drinks which never turned up sat with the bill at our table for 20minutes while 4 members of the ‘waiting’ staff all jumped on a table next to us to eat there lunch to be told to pay at the bar. The service let down what could have been an enjoyable meal. Can never understand why I have to write on a bit of paper with a pencil what I want to order food wise. It’s a shame for everyone who works in the kitchen cooking lovely food as the service by the young waiting staff with poor service means I’m not in any hurry to come back.

Had a very good afternoon tea.. sandwiches were lovely and fresh. Cakes really good and plenty of food. Service was really good. No need to book. And was very good value.. had a few pots of tea and no extra charge. We sat outside and its a beautiful location

Stunning location but the 'terrace' needed a good sweep. It felt much more informal than I thought it would and wouldn't recommend for afternoon tea. I'd prefer somewhere more luxurious with less noise and music that wasn't earsplitting. What a shame.

Both Alice and Sue are wonderful - customer care and their true passion for the venue means they share their pride for this wondrous location that offers so much, from lunch to a private dinner, events to spa days and the new gate house has to be seen.
