The Royal Victoria Hotel
Had a great stay here. The room was very small but was just me staying so can’t fault it. Although the glow in the dark emergency sign was a little too much as was shining off the mirror so I couldn’t face away from it xD overall a pleasant stay in a fantastic location.

Had a wonderful 4 night stay. The first meal of chicken was a let down but the rest of the week was really lovely. The breakfast was superb and served by a lovely lady.I agree with previous reviews about the toilet paper. If it was a better quality you wouldn't need as much. The staff were amazing and professional and nothing was too much trouble. Joanne at the bar was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge.The room was very comfortable and spotless. Housekeeping girls very friendly. Tea, coffee and biscuits replenished every day.Really great stay. Thank you Royal Victoria xxxc

The Royal Victoria Hotel
Location is nice, and even if the rooms are a bit small they are very clean and the light is good.Staff is friendly and helpful.Food is very varying: my dinner was lamb which was the best lamb I have eaten in years.Lunch was a disaster. Food kept running out, the chicken drumsticks was dry and bland. The ”dressed salad” was some sad leaves that had never seen dressing ever. Most of the lunch was too much carbs for me.Another downside is internet coverage. Its bad in most of the hotel but awful in the rooms. Publishing this review took multiple attempts

Situated in a lovely valley at the foot of Snowdon next to a lake. Some great views from the breakfast room. Rooms are adequate although our double bed was two single beds pushed together but comfortable. Clean bathroom. Friendless staff. Good buffet breakfast with cooked and cereals, yoghurt, toast, tea, and coffee available.

The Royal Victoria Hotel
Hotel itself is a bit outdated but it has some atmosphere it it. The location is just perfect to explore the area and climb the snowdon. Rooms would do with a bit or refreshment but are cosy and comfortable. Don't fall in same trap as me and go to bar for a meal. Restaurant is good but bar food selection is much better and less expensive plus you can have a drink however you want. Overall I would recommend but I would recommend for owners to invest in refurbishment. Hopefully see you soon.

Location is absolutely fantastic, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was nice, clean and had everything needed but obviously didn't spend much time in there! The food quality was very very good, really tasty real food. Good range of drinks at reasonable prices, will definitely be back next year!!

Stayed for 1 night in a single room. The location is perfect as it's right by the train station and the main path. The grounds were lovely. All areas were tidy and clean. I bought an evening meal which was great. Morning breakfast was good too.

Great location - walkers paradise! Easy access to the Snowdonia Mountain Railway. Service was excellent, cannot fault the staff. A little bit tired in areas, thought the food was a bit pricey so we didn't eat at the hotel.

The Royal Victoria Hotel
The hotel is in a great location with stunning views. I have stayed here on a number of occasions and maybe would go back but would be careful on what room we got and would eat elsewhere.The last room we stayed in was a normal double room, unfortunately the condition of the room was terrible and looked like is was decorated in the late 50,s and never refurbished. The curtains and overhead bed canopy smelt old and stail.The duty manager after me complaining inspected the room with me understood and agreed with me. In fairness to the duty manager they did in a few days find a newly refurbished room and moved us. Unfortunately this was at the front on the hotel with the garden below and trying to get to sleep was a nightmare.The food in the hotel was very average including the breakfast and the price of the beer at the bar was outrageous. It's a shame because the hotel must be in the best location in the area. It just needs all the rooms to be brought up to the standard of the already refurbished rooms, prices reviewed and food improvement.
