The Pear Tree

We had our wedding at The Pear Tree in August. Stunning venue, staff were great especially Zosia, all the food was amazing! What made it extra special was having the venue to ourselves, it just made the day so much easier and enjoyable. We have had so many positive comments off guests. Wonderful memories to look back on.

As a supplier, on our first visit, we found all the staff so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Between us we ensured the wedding couple had the best and most special day. The food was fabulously presented and tasty, thank you. All our needs on the day were assisted. The venue fabulous, the ceremony room beautiful with amazing chandeliers, the wonderful bright orangery for the wedding breakfast and the manicured garden together with the bandstand great for those keepsake photographs. We've just had a lovely day at Kelly & Wesley's wedding.The venue was stunning and I want to say a special thank you to Chris as he really is a fantastic member of staff.

Wonderful wedding attended recently of my great niece! Venue beautiful, staff lovely but more training is required in some areas…Drinks removed from several tables which hadn’t been finished, & both alcoholic & soft drinks were very expensive too!!The approach to the front door from the car park is over gravel, which unfortunately wreaks havoc on high heeled shoes… perhaps an alternative path surface (paved) could be considered in the near future….

We had our wedding at the Pear Tree in June and it was simply the most incredible day. The staff were wonderful, the venue is gorgeous and the food was amazing. Our coordinator Zosia really went all out to make sure we had a great day. The exclusive use is the icing on the cake, we would thoroughly recommend! Thank you Pear Tree!

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Lauren and her exceptional team at the Pear Tree in Purton, Swindon for a recent wedding event. The staff were incredibly attentive and professional, making my role as an MC/DJ so much more manageable. The team coordination was seamless, and together, we pulled off a stunning wedding.The commitment and support from the staff truly set the stage for a perfect event, underscoring their excellent service quality. I am sincerely grateful for their hard work and dedication, which greatly contributed to the success of the wedding.This wonderful experience has left me eager for future collaborations at the Peartree. I therefore wholeheartedly recommend this venue for any event, assured that the team there will go above and beyond to make your occasion truly unforgettable. The venue itself is also stunning. Fabulous place for a wedding food was good and the staff very caring about our vegetarian with us who had a shell fish allergy! Food great , she said.Could have done with more chairs for elderly guests to sit down on.....otherwise a really beautiful venue for a wedding!

Stayed there as a guest for a wedding, beautiful old building and grounds and comfy beds with rooms that had ample space as long as you were mobile.This is where I had a problem, there was no disabled entrance to the hotel itself, even though told my room was for disabled use, the bathroom wasn't disabled friendly, the shower had no seat, no handles or emergency chord and the toilet also didn't have disabled bars either, not only that, the bathroom itself was too small to get a wheelchair in, also the sensor light went out every 10secs plunging us into darkness, it wouldn't go back on unless you were nearly right under it again.The other problem was the doors to get to and from the room, they were in 2 parts, if I didn't have help, there would have been no way I could've gotten through these as its very difficult to steer a wheelchair and hold 2 parts of a door open.There were 3 steps upto the bar, again in a wheelchair it's not feasible, thankfully staff did show me another way round, quite a long way but nonetheless at least I got there in the end.These things need to be addressed as the law states access needs to be in place as do facilities.Apart from this staff were great and helped out wherever could bless them, breakfast was lovely, the amount there was amazing although my son ate my bacon roll, aswell as his own.

My husband and I booked our wedding at the Pear Tree and I wish I could capture how incredible and personable the team are. They are simply outstanding. The team helped navigate us through the whole process in selection of menus, drink package, they even created a check list and provided us with recommend suppliers. There was no ask to big and you were made to feel welcomed and always put at ease. If you are looking for a wedding venue I would urge you to book a meeting. You will not be disappointed. If I could give 20 stars I would. BEST wedding venue and team to help your dream day come become a reality.

Perfect venue. Exceeded all of our expectations. We were a little worried going into our day with some previous reviews and an understanding of restrictions due to surrounding area. But we were open and made sure to ask for what we wanted and were granted all of it.The staff were incredible. Lauren our event manager supported with everything and getting hold of our cake Supplier when she did not turn up.Music issue at the start- not a problem for Zhanet she sorted us right out to make sure our special Song got played. Above and beyond support that really made me have something less to worry about!The lady (sorry, I didnt catch your name) who made sure we got our canapes thank you for chasing us round the venue with them because honestly we would have never got hold of any if it wasn't for you so thank you!Hats of to everyone at the Pear tree who made the whole day smooth running knowing exactly where we needed to be and when and got everything right. All our guests have said what a beautiful time they had. Thanks again!
