Parts in Motion - Online Car Service and Repair Parts

Ordered a drive shaft which I needed urgently. Got an email 24 hours later to say my order was cancelled due to them not having the part. Was then told I’d be refunded within 48hrs. 5 days later, no refund. Was informed by the company that it’s in the small print that they can basically cancel your order as they advertise parts that they don’t have. Really bad customer service. I’ve had to source elsewhere and am still waiting for refund. Stay away.

Ordered an anti rollbar for my Alfa GT through these via an eBay add . The part was shipped and tracking info updated really quickly. Unfortunately Fed Ex decided to hold my part at a local depot for over a week past the suggested delivery date and wouldn’t give any meaningful update on when it would be delivered. Ryah and Charlie both got on the case for me and when they too got little back from fed ex , said they would send a replacement straight away . Both parts turned up the very next day and Ryah was happy to assist me in returning one. Although I had to rearrange my garage booking, it was not parts in motion’s fault and both Ryah and Charlie went out of their way to ensure I got the best customer support possible. Finding the right alternator for an old M3 specific was tough. A lot of companies advertised the fact it fit but actually only fit the other e46 models and were not the M3 specific ones. I contacted through eBay to ask if what they were advertising would be specific, they took time to check with other colleagues before answering not just saying yes to get the sale. It was posted quickly, well packaged and was the correct part. It felt like they really wanted to help, not just sell. So thank you, I'm up and running again now.

I ordered some parts yesterday about 2pm and they arrived today (the next day) by 9:30. What fast service and TBH the price was amazing, more than 50% cheaper than anywhere else online. I will definitely buy more car parts from them.

I have ordered from these guys and found they offer the best prices and quality parts. Only downside was the order was placed on a Friday and I was expecting to receive the items 3-5 working days after the order. In a good way the items were delivered on the Monday far earlier than expected but I had not received any notification of dispatch or tracking and whoever delivered the items, a full set of brake discs, dumped them at my front door in plain sight to the public as I wasn't home, luckily no one pinched them and it's not the fault of partsinmotiin for the courier but it would have been a big problem if they were nicked.

My experience when dealing with Parts In Motion has been first class in all respects.My latest purchase was a fuel pump which unfortunately had an issue with the fuel gauge sender unit. I relayed my concerns to Parts In Motion, and instead of receiving the normal fob off reply I was treated with the utmost courtesy from the start and supplied with every bit of information I needed to return the part.Within a very short period I received a full refund and I was kept informed at all times as to what was happening, I couldn't have asked for a better service.It was such a surprise to be dealt with in this manner as old fashioned customer service is sadly lacking in this day and age.

Recently purchased an o2 sensor for my Audi and whilst it was a well respected brand, unfortunately it failed after just a couple of months. They where very helpful and after filling out a short form online and returning the item, they quickly refunded me. Excellent customer service and very friendly and prompt responses.I have used this company before and wouldn't hesitate to use again.
