The Crown Inn at stockton.
The food was really good. I think our waiter was a new starter as he brought our drinks to the table one by one (there was 4 of us and a child) also tried to clear our plates while we were still eating. We had a platter, a steak sarnie, hunters chicken and fish and chips. The portion size is pretty good. It was quiet in the food side, so not much atmosphere having said that we would return.

We went on a Wednesday lunch time . Well looked after by staff . Very good meal and plenty of it . Very good menu plenty of choice . We will be going back for more .

Catered to us for a large family gathering and nothing was too much trouble. Great prices, large selection of drinks and the menu had lots of choices. All food was delivered to the table quickly and piping hot. Thanks so much.

Proper locals pub, lots of men and their beers indoors, but really nice beer garden. Huge menu (even on a Sunday), but the restaurant was nearly empty and our 4x toasties and chips took about 40 mins which seemed a bit excessive! Staff very nice and really reasonably priced too.

Pre booked for 12people for the last carvery sitting. But felt that the potatoes and veg were sparse especially roast potatoes as 9 of us had to wait so our dinner getting cold although after being told by 4 of us that they were running out. When asked if anymore shoulders was shrugged .Did let it down with attitude by bar lady.But it was enjoyable by the first 4 of us .

Me and my girlfriend booked a table Monday night for 1:00 on Tuesday, we arrived 30 minutes early after a lovely walk from long itchington. Claire was very accommodating and a lovely person. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. Food was reasonably priced and very big portions. The beer was of great quality. Will definitely come again. Thank you Claire

This pub treats newcomers appallingly. My partner was verbally threatened for no reason by someone who doesn't even know him and was asked to leave but the person who threatened him was allowed to stay. Again he was asked to leave even after asking what he had done wrong and the landlady was really horrible. Its disgusting how he was treated. Certainly lives up to the reputation of being a rough pub.
