Kennedy's

I did a deal with Philip Coulter of Kennedy Jewellers in October 2017 selling him a diamond priced at £3k trade price, as of today date I have still not received full payment despite numerous promises. Because he and the business are based in NI it is outside of the jurisdiction of the UK Small Claims Court, making it costly in legal terms to get the money still owed to me. He is refusing my calls and has blocked my number. I urge anyone thinking of doing business with Philip Coulter or Kennedy Jewellers to be very cautious especially if giving credit or accepting verbal guarantee from them.

Very poor experience of having this jewellery shop sell a gold watch on my behalf. Philip held the watch, original boxes and paperwork for 6 months before I requested it's return following countless visits to the shop when I was promised it was sold & the purchaser would be calling to hand over the money for the watch. The watch was returned to me with the original boxes damaged. Incredibly poor service & business practice.

Terrible. Left a signet ring in to be sent away for hand engraving, waited over a year whilst Phillip Coulter made many excuses explaining the delay. After the guts of 13 months it was admitted the ring was apparently lost and so a replacement was ordered. It arrived looking much lighter than the original. My fathers ring however, was sent alongside my own (for the engraver to reference) and it was able be located... funny that. Never again.

Kennedys Jewellers have been great to deal with and all the staff are very friendly and helpful, I would recommend them highly.
