AB Domestic Appliances

Second time I have called AB Domestic Appliances. Very patient with my over stuffing of the washing machinePrompt, efficient and polite. Good value. Would recommend.

2* unsatisfied. I called this company and they were prompt and responsive for a quote even calling back to offer suggested fixes that didn’t require a call out. The engineer attended on time . He couldn’t fix the issue due to me providing him the wrong information about which plug controlled the oven. There was an electrical issue with the plug. He said he wasn’t an electrician and I needed to call an electrician. I called another engineer who came round and immediately identified the plug I thought controlled the oven couldn’t control the oven because of the type of plug. Using his experience as a domestic appliance repair specialist he was able to fix it. Unfortunately AB heating was quick to charge me for incorrectly diagnosing an issue and left me extremely unsatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend.

I heartily recommend this company as a domestic appliance repairer. Our oven broke. I rang A.B. Domestic… They replied really quickly and came round within 48 hours. The ovens element had died. Nelson was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient and I was amazed by how reasonable their costs were.

My cooker hood had stopped working, the engineer did some tests and told me it was broken, charged me and then left. No suggestions of how to fix, apart from the whole cooker hood needs replacing. So I was charged best part of £100 to be told something I already knew! Now I have looked into it, I know I can buy a replacement motor and get it changed. I would have thought that would have been something he could have suggested and done!!!

Excellent, professional service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others. Phoned late afternoon and machine fixed the very next morning. Lovely polite engineer that came, who knew his stuff.Great value too - no point looking anywhere else, use these guys.

I called after experiencing an issue with my washing machine.They were very understanding and informative over the phone, sending someone out on the same day. When they arrived they were really nice, knowledgeable and fixed the problem quickly, cleaning up after themselves throughout.Will definitely reach out to these guys again for any appliance issues.Thanks!

So I called to arrange an appointment but due to unforseen circumstances had to call AB domestic Appliance at the earliest opportunity to cancel prior to the engineer arriving. The appointment was scheduled for between 9-11 am I called at 8:30 am.Nigel was extremely rude as I began to explain and hung up the phone. Does he not understand that emergencies happen? Anyway he has probably done me a big favour with an attitude like that ..it makes me wonder what the reason was for his rudness. Will never go back or recommend

Nelson was so professional and kind. He went above and beyond what was expected of him when he was called to repair my oven. I will definitely be using this company again.
