I did my shopping today at 7:40 pmMe and my mum did the shopping. I paid for our shopping.And then we reached to door the security stop us .And asked for the receipt.I showed him. He said that, ohi, you have two receipts, I say yes.He said to me, Sorry that he didn't see the second one.I feel very embarrassed in front of my mum .but the funny thing is that I asked that man. Definitely going downhill.The toilets were disgusting, not cleaned, door full of holes, the smell was barely tolerable. Hand soap dispensers only one with soap.Staff holding court on the sales floor, gaps in stock, 3 security staff chatting to each other in the foyer, only one (very friendly) person dealing with the checkout issues. Such a pity!

Great supermarket, good selection of food, for all variables, great staff, I always need to ask where something is and they very kindly help me. Good check out area not too small, and they also do a scan and go service I haven't tried it yet but I will.

Half empty shelves, cardboard all over the floors. George @ Asda was fine though so this wasn't late at night. Shopping here for food is like an obstacle course, IF you can find what you need. Which I couldn't.

Just lately there has been a distinct lack of fresh meat and veg on the shelves and a lot of short dates on lots of everyday items. Also the meat seems to regularly go bad before the use by dates, Not sure why this has become such an issue lately but they don't seem to have the same problem in hollingbury asda. Having to do multiple shops a week just to make sure items are fresh. Hope this improves soon.

What is going on? Something has happened in the last two months at this store...perhaps a little bit longer. Whole aisles of food have disappeared but not reappeared elsewhere in the shop. The hanging signs and shelf signs are wrong. Theres hardly any staff there. There are very low stock levels in many areas. There is poor selection and many products dont seem to be sold anymore. Quality oif food seems lower and there is less seems a lack of the Extra Special ranges. This isnt just a supermarket thing as although Asda is around 1.5 miles from where I live, I've been driving 9 miles to go to Sainsburys instead - everything is in stock and the shelves are full and things are in the place the signs say they should be. I can only assume there is either a very high level of sickness or they cant get staff (including a store manager) as this shop appears a bit broken. I went there tonight and its worse than ever. C'mon Asda, sort it out!
