I had a great experience in purchasing my new Hifi system. Jamie was extremely patient, giving expert advice but not at all pushy . Even though I live over 50 miles from Hifi Gear I had no hesitation in ordering the system from them. I had an amazing online shopping experience with Hifi Gear when I purchased heavy floorstanding speakers and speaker cables from them. Charlie was a star in keeping me up to date with the status of the order, and arranging for alternative delivery solutions when their courier company DPD were experiencing issues.I'd made a mistake with the speaker cable termination and the order fulfilment method, but Charlie fixed this for me instantly.For the speakers, given their size and DPD disruption, Charlie drove the whole 160 miles from Hereford to London to hand deliver the units.The whole experience made me vow to always support and promote HiFi Gear for years to come.

I contacted the store for advice on a Dynavector MC cart, upgrade to a 17DX from a 17D3. Chose the 17DX. Charlie was great and the deal was a little better than most. Collected yesterday and met Jaime, its a nice set up with a good mix of components . Still not sure on the orange LP12 on display.

I purchased a pair of PMC Twenty5 22i Bookshelf Speakers, stands and Naim NAC A5 cables. Due to Christmas, the postal strikes and DPD being overloaded, delivery was challenging, and the three boxes arrived separately. Jamie at HiFi Gear kept me informed at every stage, and did everything in his power to ensure that the delivery was a priority. I love the speakers and will be a repeat customer for sure!

A first rate, knowledgeable and friendly local dealer is a real blessing. Jamie and Charlie guided me through the process of upgrading my Naim hifi with new amplifiers and making sure that it integrated properly with my existing streamer, including with updated connections. I was able to audition the system with my own music for a whole morning at the shop before finalising purchase. Charlie then spent a morning delivering and building the new system at my home and making sure thar everything was working properly – and helpfully suggesting what I might want to upgrade next! Hifi can be an expensive and complicated hobby so it’s great to have a good dealer in the locality, keen to advise but never to pressurize.

Recently purchased a new amplifier from HifiGear and on getting it home there was a humming coming from the unit. Contacted Phil and Jamie who arranged for a replacement without question - this is working fine and I'm very happy with my purchase. The best experience I've ever had in making a hi-fi purchase. Staff who are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. No pressure or salesman-like attitude.I was able to explain my needs. I was given some recommendations and was allowed all the time I needed to listen without feeling rushed and came away with a system I am over the moon with. In a world where it's becoming increasingly difficult to browse and purchase from a good brick and mortar store, it's re-assuring to know that we still have specialists like this with the professionalism and expertise to make sure you leave the store happy. Long may it continue.
