Woodmonk Carpentry & Design
Tom did a magnificent job building two alcove cupboards, with a central unit for television. The carpentry work (which includes a fold out desk in one cupboard and a bar area in the other) is excellent, and the lighting installation above and inside the cupboards has really changed my living room. Tom was very easy to work with and I was happy to let him get on with things when I was out at work. I would recommend highly.

Tom installed a fitted cupboard and alcove shelves in our lounge and they look absolutely fantastic. He was really helpful on advising on the details to choose, and really accommodating when I asked for non standard additions (different cupboard molding). His work was really quick and efficient and looks amazing. Would definitely recommend.

This was my first project with Tom and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Despite being a novice to these types of projects myself, he was extremely patient and able to improvise. I was very happy to leave him to it whilst I was away at work. Highly recommended!

Tom helped us re-design some drawings we had, then built and fit alcove furniture for our living room. He took the time needed to get it right, which is much better than rushing to finish. We love the wardrobes that Tom has put in for us. We had one wardrobe installed in 2021 and liked it so much that we got another, larger wardrobe installed this month, along with some additional shelves. They look fantastic and are immaculately put together. Tom is a pleasure to have around and goes above and beyond to ensure that everything is just right. Highly recommend.

We have used Tom over the last 15 years at three locations, he has always produced great work and his design suggestions have been really appreciated! A really awkward alcove in our new house was transformed into a dream listening station for my husband - and he also made super sturdy shelves to finally get all the records off the floor!

This was not an easy task given the wonky walls and uneven floor. The result is a piece of art that transformed the whole room. Woodmonk is a highly skilled craftsman with a keen eye for dimensions and design. I was impressed by his professionalism. I highly recommend his work.

We've used Tom from Woodmonk twice to install fitted wardrobes. Always excellent service, work is very high standard and competitively priced, communicates the job well throughout. He gets on with the job and leaves the place as he finds it. Would definitely get Tom back again if we needed any other carpentry work.
