Love coming to this amazing salon. The atmosphere is always so warm and welcoming. Every customer is greeted the same - no favourites which is nice to see. Matt is highly knowledgeable and talented and I love the way he does my hair. I always get fantastic results. First class salon.

I have been going to Reef in Durham for sometime now. Alex Nord always does a fabulous job of blowdrying and straightening my hair but the last few times I’ve been in she’s been using a product called WOW extra strength Dream Coat which has made my hair stay straight and sleek for so much longer and stay like the salon style for days longer despite what the weather brings.

This is by far the best hair salon I have been to. Customer for Ten years this year. Sophie is my hairdresser and cuts my hair to perfection and understands thick long hair so much! I even travel here since moving away.

This visit was my first at Reef after recently moving into the area. I had heard very good things so decided to go in for a well overdue colour and cut.Firstly, they made sure I had a patch test, which my previous salons didn't do - I felt that they genuinely cared!The appt itself was great. Eleanor was very knowledgeable about hair and made suggestions on what would look good for me. She also suggested products that would be able to help me between visits and I left with some samples to use before buying.I would 100% recommend to others and will definitely be returning.

Once again had a great experience. Fantastic service. Rachel always sits and listens to what I want or would like. Even though she knows me so well to know what I need . Always feel fab when I leave the salon .

I’ve been having my hair done by Eleanor for over a year now and every time she has been faultless. My hair is in the best condition it’s ever been and 100% this is down to Eleanors skill and product guidance. The salon itself is a lovely, welcoming place and all of the staff are always friendly and approachable.

Wow what can i say, what a day, Eleanor had already taken time to discuss what i was looking for, she really listened and it was a two way conversation rather than not being heard! She and the girls took such care over me today and i walked away feeling great (not always the case when leaving other salons) i couldnt recommend the salon more highly. They really have time for you and ultimately do an amazing job, so creative so talented, thank you

Always come away with beautiful hair. Great colour and cut Rachel listens to her customers & will advise when needed. My hair stays beautiful fircdays after being done I wish I could replicate at home.
