Staff were helpful at every stage of the process, from arranging initial appointment, to final pick up of new glasses. It was identified by the optician following the eye test that I required distance glasses. I purchased two pairs. One for the car are one for use at home if required. My main concern is I do not feel that my eyesight is any better when I put them on. Time will tell.

Very happy with service provided. Friendly and helpful staff. Cannot do enough for you, even during the pandemic. Highly recommended.UPDATE.After 4 to 6 weeks the rubber nose protectors on both sets of reading glasses came away. Wanted to charge for repair. After so little time. Top prices for bottom quality. Avoid at all costs.Another Update.Filled out the complaint form twice now and still no reply. Easy to type We will look into it " and even easier to do nothing then after. Go to VISION EXPRESS. Very disappointed with after sales service and even more disappointed that nothing will get done."

Rude staff who will call and be condescending if you complain about the way in which they cancel your appointment for an emergency when none of the alternatives offered are suitable and also insinuate that you're a lier because they don't belive what was said/happened at the appointment when they weren't in the room during the appointment because they don't think that a slight change in sight is significant when it actually is.Won't be coming back after I've collected my new glasses they reluctantly agreed to provide me yesterday.

I had an eye test recently . I found the staff very friendly and helpful. I needed some new glasses so went for the £69 and above frames , which give you a free second pair. There were plenty to choose from and am delighted with both pairs. I would certainly recommend Specsavers for a really good eye test and a great selection of glasses.

Absolutely rubbish. I booked an appointment on line even had emails and text message to confirm. Got to appointment on time alady checked details including my telephone number them checks with a fellow employee and Says why is this appointment in dispense? Then continues to say tried to call 3 times and hung up by customer. I never received no phone calls from spec savers and then proceeds to tell me have wrong number although the first lady had just confirmed my telephone number. A wasted journey to take my son for his eye test and no apology and no other appointment offered never had such bad service from an opticians before very poor !
