Sofa Club

Myself, my partner, and our friends stopped to look and feel the sofas at Sofa Club in the Arndale Centre, Manchester, in the afternoon of 4th December 2022. A slim man with short hair who worked there quickly approached us and snapped that we needed an appointment. He was incredibly passive aggressive and instantly made us all feel very defensive and put off looking at the sofas any further. At one point, he stated that we couldn’t afford the £999 sofa that we were looking at, which was purely uncalled for and nasty.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for decent and friendly customer service. Very poor first and last impression of this company.

I absolutely love this sofa. Feel like real people have designed it with real people in mind. It's so big and comfortable it's insane. Great for hangovers, binge watching TV or entertaining. My dog was sick on it 1 week after getting it, I cleaned it with a Vax spot cleaner and it cleaned beautifully. I love that the cushions zip off and have a protective cover underneath. I've bought from DFS for over 20 years and this is the best sofa I've ever had in every way. We love it.

The worst customer service . They decided on a 7am timeslot for delivery and i wasnt able to change it because its fixed. and now want me to pay them 100£ for failing to recieve the order and issue a re-delivery. What a sham company . They dont even

Please avoid sofa club at all costs. They take your money and then never deliver the sofa you ordered. Their customer service is absolutely shocking, it’s non existent. You are unable to contact anyone by phone, and whether you email or send a WhatsApp you spend forever waiting for a response. We ordered the Bishop sofa, and they tried to deliver the Ascot sofa - we rejected the order and was promised we’d get our sofa back “Urgently”.. we took another days annual leave and waited it all day for the sofa. The deliver driver arrived and guess what… no bishop sofa… instead it was the same Ascot sofa we rejected on Monday!!No one will take any responsibility. So please avoid at all cost.

Customer service is practically non existent and will frequently ignore you when you try to get in contact. When my sofa was delivered one of the pieces was the wrong colour, a week later when the correct" piece was delivered the wrong piece had been delivered again..... I'm still waiting for my complete sofa to be delivered despite the £100 delivery fee. Honestly avoid this company."

I can not rate this company enough. I bought my sofa from a lovely gentleman called Kai. His Service was amazing and he was very knowledgable and helped find our dream sofa. From start to finish we was kept informed and had our sofa delivered by lovely guys who done everything for us and better yet all with in just 10 days. Absolutely over the moon and would recommend this company to anyone.

The staff at the Arndale manchester, shouted at my toddler to get off their display sofa, claimed it was worth £1000 & disrespectfully argued with me and my partner in the middle of the mall. Are your sofa not children friendly? Anyone with kids and pets shouldnt invest in these £1000 souveniers? Should we?

I recently visited the sofa club at the arndale to view a sofa before purchasing online.Now the sofa I went to view wasn’t out on display but Kai was absolutely incredible and give me all the information I could possibly need about the sofa in question and showed me a similar model so I could get a feel for it and took the time to show me swatches and previous customer photos to really give me a full picture. He later gave me his contact details and told me I could get in touch any time if I had any more questions, well I did just that. He took the time out of his evening to help me as I couldn’t decide on which sofa colour to buy and he had so much patience with me. Since then he continued to check in and support me when needed until I finally made a choice on colour and ordered the sofa.I couldn’t recommend him more, I wish more people were like him when it comes to retail staff. Patient, kind, informative without making you feel stupid, I could go on forever.Please see him specifically if you need some support, you won’t be disappointed.

I had the best experience here! I came into Arndale and stumbled upon the Sofa Club lounge and decided to have a browse. I was greeted by a lovely woman named Lisa. She made me feel very at ease and like I was the most important person in the world! Incredibly attentive, answered every question I had with no issues (which was a lot, sorry!!) and I ended up buying that same day. Lisa even checked up on me afterwards to make sure everything was how I hoped it would be. I’ve worked in customer service for years so I know exactly what great customer service looks like and this was it. Would highly recommend Lisa and the company to anyone!
