This was a fantastic find. Loads of animals to see and feed, there are various birds, raccoons, pigs, goats, a donkey and llamas on site. The farm is set in a lovely location

Wow - this was flawless from start to finish. Patti could not have been more helpful or welcoming. She upgraded us to the wee beach cottage, encouraged us to use her barn to charge our electric bikes, trusted me to be left alone in her home to use her laptop, the list goes on and on. Patti is a shining example of how to live your life. They restored the cottages from barely a chimney stack to what they are now: cosy, homely and comfortable. In response to other folk's cleaning comments, yes they have cobwebs, that's what happens within a few hours when a cottage is set in nature - and they add to it and trap midgies, what's not to like?! Yes, it's probably colder than you are used to in winter, cottages are, that's what jumpers are for. There are some truly beautiful items in the cottage, and it really did feel like home. The setting is the real star of the show though. If you are quiet enough for long enough whilst sitting on the doorstep, you too could well have a pine martin coming out to see you just a few feet away. My top tip is not to plan to go anywhere and just simply be. You will definately be rewarded.

A beautiful location, very chilled.Stayed in a pod and it ticked the boxes.Would love to come back and stay in the cottage on the waterfront next time.

The place is a riot. The animals are clearly not looked after properly. There is an owl, and it's enclosure is completely over run with weeds and filth. The raccoons have the smallest enclosure too. This place should be shut down.

This place is a disgrace and definitely not worth a visit. The poor animals have no adequate housing and the shelters are full of holes or fallen down altogether. Most of the chicken pens were filthy and needed a good clean and proper bedding but we couldn't understand why most of them were in cages when there were so many fields to let them roam. There was one llama and a small group of sheep. No staff to be found on arrival although a man did appear near the end of our visit to mend a fence. There was a small car park and it was supposed to cost £1.50 but no one to take the money.

Beautiful location for a break away from it all. If you're looking for luxurious accommodation then this isn't your place but if you're looking for a wonderful place to relax, follow some trails, see sweet llamas, raccoons and ducks and wake up to an incredible view then this is the place. We were very lucky to be upgraded as the (extremely lovely) owners had a cancellation and didn't want the cottage to go to waste, and I must say, there is nothing comparable to waking up to the fresh sea air and the noise of gentle waves over a coffee like we found here. The cottage is a couple feet from the shore and it made for incredible sunsets. The cottage itself is a little rough and ready, but honestly you won't stay in it long enough to care when you've got all the stunning views and walks on the doorstep-plus it adds to the character! I recommend the circuit walk from Plockton to Duncraig Castle and back following the rail line, it has incredible views, and feeding the sweet raccoons on the farm as they are so full of mischief and character. Overall, I definitely would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The Craig Highland farm was a magical place. We stayed in one of the wooden huts. It was basically just two beds, but we had everything we needed (electricitywise) in the kitchen further up the hill. We really felt close to nature here, with the rain lulling us to sleep. You won't really be able to escape the rain on the west coast, but that's why the views are so stunning there! The animals where fun! Llamas, racoons, loads of different ducks and chickens!Fresh duck eggs in the morning made our trip complete and Terry's tips where terrific!Take some repellent for the midges, or take me, because I seem to attract all of them.

Please update your website so that people know that you cannot visit the farm (day visitors) during November - March. I drove here only to be disappointed. Google said you were open until 5pm on the day I came.

The views there are stunning not much to live about this place, plus you can rent lodges too and listen to the wildlife till your heart is content. Superb.
