I mean what is there to say? Do you want free tools? Really great free tools? And a workshop you can use? Obviously you do, get on it. Not actually free but it's only £25 which when you are talking tools you'll save in one or two rentals it's a no brainer. Did I mention they have tools?

Absolutely love this placeeven now when I am in Homebase or B&Q I have to remind myself that I don't need to buy 'that' tool I've been thinking about (I've already a few that I bought and never use) ...all I have to do is borrow it from BTL....and remember to leave it back on time! Plus I've been using the workshop to make meditation stools, as a complete beginner I needed & got (and still get) all the advice and encouragement I need from Freddie, Alan, Sean Emma, Matthew and the others. I can not recommend it highly enough!! PS. The coffee and chat is a vital part of the experience!!!

Friendly and helpful volunteers and a broad range of tools to borrow. I have benefited a great deal over the years by borrowing tools that I only need to use once or twice.

BTL has a wide range of tools for you to borrow for free. Pop in and don't mind the green scaffolding - They are open while Skankhill Mission building is being renovated. Also, see their website for a range of maker classes in their workshop: Woodworking, sewing, flowerpot and birdhouse making, electronics & soldering and more.
