Amie is a perfectionist and is a surgeon with a needle and thread, I cannot thank her enough for making this process stress free. BEST SEAMSTRESS EVER.Amie literally SAVED my wedding dress and I'm not exaggerating.I bought my dress and got it altered at a different shop to only find out that the fit was still far from perfect, one could argue they actually made it worse. I can't recommend Amie enough! She is an absolute magician!She had a big challenge with my dress due to the type of lace (Guipure) so it was a very intricate pattern...You honestly would not know at all that it had been altered - She is beyond talented and worth every single penny!She even custom made me a veil in the perfect length and colour!!!Thank you so much Amie for helping me avoid a corset back, you made my wish come true ❤️❤️❤️

I cannot recommend Aime enough, she's so lovely and makes you feel so at ease if your a little self conscious. She knows exactly what she's doing and she executes it perfectly. She noticed things to help my dress look like it was made to fit me, that I hadn't even noticed. She attached fabric to the belt of my dress to make it look like it had always been there which I'd have never thought of. She's just amazing, her prices are brilliant as well, for the lever of service i thought it would have been twice as much. Especially compared to other seamstress prices.She also sorted my mum's dress to help her feel more comfortable in, and she did that at the drop of a hat.

I want to start by saying a massive thank you to Amie for making me feel so comfortable in my dress alteration appointments. She is an absolute diamond and very talented at what she does! Also as a plus size bride I wanted someone who could work with my shape and that’s exactly what I got!She instantly knew that I was self conscious of my mum tum and suggested lifting the dress from the waist to give the desired length but to also help create the illusion of a more free flowing dress from bust to the floor. It really changed the dress for the better and I never knew this was an option.We also had 5 bridesmaids dresses altered with Amie and she was just as amazing. Had I known Amie before I purchased our bridesmaids dresses I would have had her make 5 from scratch. I really missed out there!All I will say is get your appointment booked in ASAP because honestly you won’t regret it.Thank you for everything Amie! x

Amie is absolutely amazing. She just knows what she’s doing and is an absolute perfectionist. I had 4 appointments in total and the transformation of my dress was just incredible. It’s such a gorgeous dress but it needed a lot of altering to fit my shape. Amie made it happen and it’s like magic, she just sees what it needs to be like and makes it happen. I would 100% recommend and really can’t thank her enough for making my dream dress fit me so well! Thank you so much!

Aime is a fantastic seamstress. Her work is second to none and I never had any doubt that my dress wasn't in good hands.She made me feel comfortable and advised how the dress could be altered to suit my body shape.There was a slight wobble the day before the wedding, as dates had been mixed up, but it was all sorted in the end.

Fantastic experience with Amie and her assistant at Bow and Lace in Sheffield. Amie understood what looked good and what didn't and took the care to get the dress looking perfect! I had multiple fittings to make sure that it was nipped in" in all the right places and the final look was stunning. It was a wonderful wedding day and I felt like a princess in my wedding dress.
