Well Pharmacy

It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Repeatedly not ordering my REPEAT prescription and after complaining was promised it would be ready for next month… it wasn’t. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! The worst service of any company I’ve ever encountered.

Having attended the Heaton Moor Medical Centre after a serious accident, I went into Well Pharmacy to purchase painkillers. The chemist persuaded me to buy Cuprofen rather than Ibuprofen and it was only when I arrived home that I realised I had paid £11 when I could have spent just £1. This is abusive behaviour and I will not use Well Pharmacy again and I will be advertising my experience on local community hubs. I have reported this behaviour to Heaton Moor Medical Group.

First class service. I phoned to check something before visiting, very friendly and helpful. When I visited I was seen to straight away!

The staff at Well Pharmacy are friendly and hard-working; always helpful in finding solutions to any problems I have and will go the extra mile to make sure things are ready for when they're needed. The only problem I have had is when a script hasn't been sent through from the GP which is no fault of the pharmacy. Wait times have sometimes been long at peak times (especially Friday afternoons) but this is expected anywhere.

I don't mind the long queues, I get that it gets busy at times. But everytime picking up a repeat prescription and being told to sit and wait 30minutes cos it's never ready. I am always calm mannered and wait quietly. I understand they get busy some people may be a stressful to serve but the lady serving was very abrupt and rude, which is why I'm absolutely shocked. Now hit a record of an hour waiting due to a mess up.

I've been waiting for a delivery of medicine for three weeks and didn't receive it, then they made a mistake in dispensing the amount of medicine I needed and then they didn't dispense the anti coagulant medicine I needed, they also put their phone on on the hook so you can't even get InTouch with them, disgusting

I very rarely write reviews, but I am so disgusted with the ridiculous service that I experience at this pharmacy EVERY month. It is supposed to be easy to get your repeat prescription, but not here. They don’t call to check the items you need a week ahead, and you can’t get through on the phone because they don’t answer. So you make a trip in the hope that you might be lucky, no chance. You end up making a minimum of two trips and sometimes 3 or 4 waiting for ages in the long frustrating queues each time and listening to all the similar complaints. When you do eventually get your prescription there is always at least one item short. This must be nominated for the worst run pharmacy in EUROPE. My advice is to go elsewhere unless you want to wait for Jeremy Beadle to appear.

I have been a customer since moving to Heaton Moor last year. The staff are all so friendly and efficient and despite them being so busy all the time they always have a smile on their face. Very knowledgeable and helpful when you have a question regarding your prescriptions too. If you live in the area I can’t recommend them highly enough.
