West Mount Vets - Todmorden

A clean and friendly environment for patients and owners.The Mytholmroyd practice performed some great dental work on my 12yo cat.

We have never felt more at ease at a vet appointment than we did on our first visit to West Mount is Tod. The whole team were warm and friendly and as rat owners it was wonderful to be met with equal enthusiasm to other patients. It was also a relief to discover that they are comfortable dealing with rats and knew exactly how best to look after our boys. We can’t imagine wanting to go somewhere else now.

Very disappointed at the way I have been treated when West Mount closed.West Mount were brilliant and could not fault them, but sadly this is not the case for the Mytholmroyd branch.I asked them to post some flea tablets....something my dog has had numerous times, but they refused to post.So asked if they would send me the prescription so that I could fulfill with a closer veterinary practice as they are now based in Mytholmroyd over 35 minutes away. Yes, but they wanted to charge my just for emailing me the prescription.Top marks for customer service (NOT) and giving me a good reason for looking for another VET

Absolutely brilliant! New to the area it’s been my first visit. Obviously concerned what they would be like as my cat is my treasure. All staff were wonderful. The treatment has been really effective and a helpful chat in a follow up call. Highly recommended.

Staff are welcoming and friendly very knowledge pet care and also happy to help you. Overall excellent service.

New to the area and found myself requiring a vet for my suddenly ill cat. Fast and efficient service, great staff, clean environment, easy parking and conveniently quick and easy to get an appointment.. But it was SHOCKINGLY expensive to put my poorly cat to sleep compared to my previous vet and three others I subsequently contacted about the price for euthanizing a cat. The price for the procedure was not discussed beforehand and was blank on the letter of consent I signed and, in my emotional state, I didn't think to ask before it was carried out.

I have nothing but praise for this practice. They are so caring for your pet and also for their owners/parents. We are not insured and they worked with us through a very difficult time and minimised the costs of treating our very poorly Westie. I am really grateful for the care they delivered and I can recommend them highly.
