I love this place and have been there many times. The service and food are always excellent. Whilst visiting recently, I read they were starting to do Sunday Lunches. First opportunity, I booked a table for 3, myself and two friends. They both ordered the Beef and I ordered the Lamb. To say my luch came up looking terribly presented with a megar meat portion is an understatement.I did not even have a slice of lamb, just some small off cuts. 2 small pieces of carrot, two small pieces of parsnip. 3 small potatoes and a yorkshire pudding. On speaking to the waitress who smirked when I said the plate looked dreadful, and portions very poor. She offered to get me an extra slice of meat!!!I am not a big eater and a pensioner, but the way it was served was extremely poor.They offered me another choice buy I declined, as my friends were already half way through there meal. My friends lunch was OK.The staff did not handle the situation well. I have been to their special evenings at Frederick's and have only ever raved about it.The price for the lunch and the quality need reviewing. It was expensive and of very poor quality.

As always, the food was very good, but the time it took to arrive - over an hour - was crazy. Also bringing a coffee to the table 50 mins before food is not great.

Really love the place, so clean,comfortable staff are super and parking .They have a license to sell alcohol. And great to be able to hear yourself speak.

So much more than a cafe within a store Great fresh menu and not too pricey.Thoroughly recommend after looking at all the designer Damask furniture

Was recommended this place for my birthday party, we went along to have a look around and decided it was just the place.For the evening we had a DJ, a flower wall and we decorated with balloons and banners.Lucy helped us out with all the planning.The food at the party was amazing and everyone loved it.The staff were helpful on the night and made my party go really well.All my guests remarked how lovely the venue was and it was like a hidden gem.Everyone loved the pair of Giraffes

The only words really needed are 'hidden gem'. Been here once in the cafe and twice for a party, one of which was my own. ALL of my guests were blown away by the venue style/decor/atmosphere. Staff are always friendly, welcoming and attentive, especially at my party when nothing was too much trouble. The canapes are top notch and tasty too, especially the sausage rolls that my guests again had high praise for! Lucy was fab to deal with, and Claire attended to my guests effortlessly. Honestly can't recommend enough. My only feedback.....clean or replace the door canopy outside!!
