Fireplaces Direct

We recently bought s new fireplace and log burner stove. We were dealing with David and he came out to our house and checked what would suit the size of our room, David gave us lot's of option's and information until we narrowed it down to the one we picked. Totally recommend fireplace direct.

David was very helpful and informative. A lovely showroom with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Called on Saturday & was very disappointed in the service we received. The female assistant was unhelpful & did not appear to be interested in our custom.

Once I was able to talk to David the service was excellent, as was the fitting of the fireplace and stove by Mark. Very tidy and clean. Do not be put off by the assistant (Emma?) in the showroom. I think she must be just working there part-time. She seemed annoyed that she had to show me anything and gave me the minimum attention and advice possible to enable me to decide on what I was going to buy. Some customer service training might be a good idea!! It was a big purchase but I felt like I was an irritant to her.

I have just had a wood burning stove (Mendip Loxton) fitted and a fireplace upgraded (specialist paint and properly fitted as in safely) by Fireplaces Direct. From the moment we arrived at their showroom the service received and attention to detail was outstanding. David could not have been more helpful. He came out to our home within a day or two, and completely turned around what we were proposing to do. Instead of replacing a fire with a stove in a small living room, he advised putting the stove into a larger living room and upgrading the old cast iron & mahogany surround fireplace by re-painting and some TLC. We are delighted with the results and his advice was spot on". David organised all the tradespersons (who were all excellent - chimney sweep

When it comes to fireplaces and stoves you don't need to go anywhere else. If they don't have it you don't need it. All you get is honest, accurate information with very little sales talk.The service doesn't stop when you pay. After sales care and advice are always available

The service and choice at fireplaces direct is first class. They have a great range of stoves, multifuel, wood burning etc and also have loads of accessories. Great guys to work with.

Called today after driving a considerable distance and had a very disappointing experience. Nobody in showroom. Customer already waiting who had to use mobile before anybody turned up.We had seen a suitable product on their website but salesperson was negative and dismissive.Due to this response we just left.

This place is great if you're looking for a new fireplace or in our case a wood burning stove.we met David and he was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and even came to our house to measure up and see the area we where putting the stove.i can't recommend this place enough

I’ve been meaning to write this review for the last few months,and tbh it’s not very often I go to the bother of leaving reviews but in this case I felt I had to.From the very first minute I entered the showroom David could not do enough for me.His helpfulness,knowledge and professionalism is second to none.He steered me through the maze of options open to me and was able to source me two stoves for my new build house.I’m so happy with my purchases and buying experience from start to finish.I would highly recommend anyone to use David at Fireplaces Direct.
