Diesel Automotive Garage

I have a 3 series BMW 320d diesel. 120k on the miles and the turbo went (after taking it to another garage the day before and advised everything was fine) . RAC took it to a local garage who admitted not being an engine expert but also advised that i scrapped the car as the engine ‘didn’t sound right’. Did some googling and found Diesel Automotive who advised that my engine sounded fine and gave me various options to consider for repair. They replaced the Turbo, found issues with the DPF and restored that for a fraction of what i would have lost if i’d gone with the first set of advice. They recovered my vehicle as it was a non-runner, at a date and time that i asked, i never felt pressured and they even picked me up from the train station to collect my vehicle (im not local to them) I would also like to mention Isha, she is an absolute gem, she kept me informed regularly and sought various quotes so i could consider my options and make an informed decision.Highly recommend these guys.

Had the sprinter booked in for :Sacks Clutch, Mass Fly wheel,Mercedes - thrust bearingTiming chain, cogs, guides, tensioner,Oil cooler and serviceGood price, the team are brilliant and canny as hell, they know their onions and get a proper job done, two day turn round, test drive and the van is like new thanks again and will now use this garage all the time going forward, sick of dealing with cowboys that blah you.

We needed a partial engine rebuild; from the first phone call they went above and beyond to make the whole experience as stress-free as possible. They arranged towing within the same day and began work pretty much straight away. The turn around was much faster than expected and we were kept in the loop the whole time. Communication was brilliant, Isha was really helpful and super knowledgeable. Thanks again.

I've had an engine rebuild on another car before so I make a direct comparison and say these guys are a proper professional outfit. The quality of their work is excellent, and they managed to turn around a rebuild on a 26 year old motor that most other places won't touch on a tight timescale.I can't recommend them enough if you need work doing on your car.

Great man valentine is can’t go wrong with this man he is Pleasant and helpful I have experienced great service from this place. I had my BMW X5 engine rebuilt from valentine and they kept me up-to date with progress by sending me pictures and text messages. And when the job was complete valentine wanted to make sure by test driving the car for 40 miles before giving it back to me. I hope to see u guys again for any problems in the future. Stay safe

***AVOID THESE COWBOYS AT ALL COSTS*** This garage has cost me in excess of £4000 due to poor workmanship and lack of respect for people's property! Poor preparation has resulted in the passenger side and drivers side needing to repainted and the rear bumper has flaked off. The tailgate is a completely different colour due to it not having enough paint applied and again prep marks under the paint. I also left a vehicle with them for work and sadly although I was told it was in a secure compound it was left on the public highway and clamped and removed due to no tax by the dvla and it took them 2 weeks to realise the vehicle had been clamped and removed by the dvla as this garage then failed to realise the vehicle was no longer there it was removed and crushed by the dvla. Diesel Automotive took no responsibility and sadly cost me £1000s of pounds. I really wouldn't use these guys they have no respect for other people's property. I'm now left with 1 vehicle that will require a full repaint and a lost vehicle I can no longer get back. I've also had to chase for 3 months and book a recovery company to collect the final vehicle a Transit Custom as the seriously lack in promises of returned phone calls or simply reject calls and never return them. Again the work carried out this is of a poor standard.

I've used Diesel automotive a few times, wouldn't go anywhere else. It's always been a good experience, friendly, very good prices and trustworthy.Highly recommended.
